One bad key on keypad. Returned for exchange. Radio seemed to work fine otherwise. Replacement has arrived. No sticky keys yet. All appears good. Will update if anything changes. Amazon is great. Now for the positive, this little radio is amazing. If you are in range of a repeater then your actual range is almost unlimited. I've talked to folks in TX, OK, LA and AR. This is my second Baofeng handheld. First one is two years old and still working well. I strongly recommend Ham radio as a hobby and an emergency method of communication when and/or if all else fails. As someone who first built a HeathKit radio back in 1957 I can tell you Ham has never been more affordable than now. If you have been considering one of these radios you should go ahead and jump in. You won't regret the purchase. You will need an easy to get license to transmit, but it is worth the effort. There is plenty of online help available including sample test questions.
