Easy to use trail camera with WiFi
The initial setup was quite good considering these can usually be quite fiddly. Having setup the app and connecting it to the camera allowed for so much more freedom. You are able to easily watch through the videos and photos captured straight from your phone as well as change settings which is so convenient. To add to that convenience, there is a wrist gadget provided to allow you to switch it on and off using the buttons on your wrist.The quality of the images and videos it captures are really good! You can easily see what is happening even when it's pitch black. It's quite easy to secure anywhere with the provided tools. It also includes a tripod mount attachment!One of the issues is that it needs 8AA batteries. I would recommend using rechargeable batteries. I wish it had a built in rechargeable battery in it.With that being the only inconvenience, I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Nearly Perfect Outdoor Security Camera
The biggest hurdle I have had in putting up security cameras is not wanting to power everything either by running ugly extension cords or wiring them directly. That was the primary reason I got this stand alone Arlo camera but it ended up being a great camera in virtually every way.This is a stand alone camera which means it doesn't require a hub! It is battery operated and the battery life lasts a reported 6 months. I wish it had a magnetic charger instead of USB but that is virtually the only issue. Set up was easy using the Arlo app.The camera works perfectly. The notifications and security alerts are accurate and timely. The spotlight is very effective in assisting with nighttime video quality. There is virtually no lighting situation this little camera can't handle with the absolute best quality.

Must Have for Home Office
This webcame is a GAME. CHANGER. I recently switched to a dual monitor setupnas I now work remotely. I had been previously using a laptop with a camera. I am set up with a docking station for my monitors and it was such a hassle undoing my laptop every time to use the built in camera. This camera is excellent. The quality is fantastic and it has a very wide range. I pictured one of my favorite parts, the black privacy ring. It blocks out a lot of the sides of the camera view which was great for not showing my messy desk, lol. All in all this was an excellent purchase.

Great Value!
Was looking for an "action camera" to use for family vacations, sports, fishing trips, etc. Came across this camera that had many of the features of cameras by other more well-known brands that cost 2X-5X more. I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did! First tested the camera on a family cruise, and was able to capture some really great memories, including underwater photos and videos taken while snorkeling. The camera came with lots of great extras including a waterproof case, two batteries, remote control, and various mounts. Also comes with a helpful PDF manual (downloadable via included QR code), and was super easy to setup and use. Can't wait to continue capturing memories with this camera!

Remote Support
Good value for the product. A neighbor bought a few and offered me one.Orginally I used the camera's SN number to set up the camera on my phone. Any recorded video would save to the 128 GB MicroSD card in the camera, which seems to be about a week's worth of video. However I wanted to setup the camera to record to PC, but I couldn't quite figure out how to add the camera as a Network Video Recorder. I tried calling Amcrest and using the online chat a few times. I am sure they were busy, so the next day I tried the chat again, the assistant said to call the line, and he then spent a good amount of time to help me. Their remote support was very helpful. I was quite grateful.

Easy to install
This camera is exactly what I had hoped for - small, plug & play easy, and good quality image. In this WFH era I spend a lot of time on video calls with Skype, Teams, Webex, Zoom, etc, and although my built-in camera worked fine it didn't offer a very flattering view looking up toward my chin. This camera allowed me to install on top of the external monitor and gain a better image perspective. Video quality is very good, at least comparable to the built in camera. Plugged it into USB and it instantly worked in all apps. Great value for $50 !

Great picture, but times out
We have mounted this camera to our dirt modified race car. There isn't any place in the car where we can mount it so he can reach it to turn on and begin recording. I turn on the camera when he heads to staging. The issue is that he has to sit there a while before his race. In order to keep the camera on, he has to periodically hit record on the wrist remote so we end up with these short videos of nothing. I also wish there was a light or something on the front of the camera that showed when it was on and recording. That only shows on the back of the camera which is difficult to see where it's mounted. I am impressed with their customer service because they contacted me to ensure I was happy with my purchase.

Excellent technical support
Amcrest technician Arthur, promptly answered my call and provided excellent support when I was unable to set up the new camera using my smartphone. I was given a straightforward explanation on how to use my pc to set the camera up with an Ethernet cable and then how to easily add the camera device to my smart phone. I found that checking the Amcrest webpage ahead of time useful for avoiding some of the problems I've read about in some reviews, for example, it's important to check browser compatibility. So far, I've not had problems with the camera; I find it useful to be able to customize the camera in so many ways; I recommend taking the time to become familiar with the settings to avoid confusion when using the device. Thank you Amcrest!

Very easy to set up and add to my existing system
I have a 4 camera Hiiseeu camera system that requires to be plugged in and I have added this solar powered camera. Both systems have preformed excellent and are very easy to setup and use. The best benefit with the soar panel camera is the option to put it in a location where you don’t have power easily available. I put this on my roof top because its a Pan Tilt Zoom and I have the ability to look just about anywhere around my home with it and did not need to extend power to it. The night vision is great and works in inferred black and white and color with the built in flood lights. I would recommend it to anyone looking for simple to install and use camera with the added ease of install not requiring power outlet. You can see the clarity and quality of the picture.
