So I get the session. Charge it. Install the sd card suggested by Amazon. Looks to work fine. Got it night before my daughter's birthday party. We try to shoot a quick 1st time using the GoPro video and nothing. Go buy another sad card. Nothing. Got 1 video recorded the whole 3 hours at the water park. Kids had fun but I was furious that i spent this much money and have nothing to show for it. I do some research and see that it could be the sd card not being compatible. We ordered a "compatible" one from Amazon. It will be here Tuesday. If it's not a counterfeit as I suppose the first one was..... Then God willing and the creek don't rise we will give the session one more go before returning it to Amazon. If the problem is solved then this review might get updated. If the card was the problem then Jameson should suggest the proper cards!!!! Oh, the camera issue manifested as a constant trying to record beep with video icon, and also three beeps with three flashing red lights. The one video that was recoverable was aweso,e though so there's that lol.Not sure if I received an old one, counterfeit one, or what. But after an hour on the phone with GoPro I found out that my camera was no good. I returned all items and was issued a replacement and bought a compatible SD card. Works like a charm!!! I will give a new review on the new camera!So the display list is different on the new session. The outer housing is plastic instead of aluminum. But it WORKS!! I definitely say that if you purchase one of these please ensure you get the RIGHT card, AND that it is from a local store or Amazon LLC. otherwise you may waste your time and ruin your camera. I can't wait to explore the world of/with GoPro!! I now love my camera! So my review has been updated.

 The good: video quality is great, the value here is real. I don’t care for all the accessories I already have a kit... but two batteries and a dual charger was fantastic.The bad: underwater footage requires the supplied case. WiFi functionality is somewhat useless. iOS does not recognize the file system this camera uses when it formats the sd card. Those last two things present a problem for me as someone who edits on his phone.... prompting me to also purchase a wireless card reader that will allow me to rename the “video” folder to dcim so that the Apple certified card reader will work.Obviously image stabilization is not on par with big brands but I found it acceptable as I will primarily use this for footage in water.

I was in the need for an action cam to record silly things that happen on my bike ride, but did not want to spend 400+ dollars (I'm not broadcasting). I research a pile of the lower priced cameras and watched and read reviews (I'm very ADD about these things!). This cam feels quality, has a rubberized feel to the body, not cheap and plasticy. Tons of adapters and two batteries came with it, which was a nice surprise.Picture quality seems great so far, there's a tiny big of jitter when panning with stabilization on, but very acceptable. Worked great right out of the box, the only issue I ran into was my first SD card i put in was not accepted, but after trying another faster card it was accepted without a problem.Overall, if you want a good quality camera for a low price that can almost compete with the 'big boy cams' - this is the one.

I bought this camera after booking a last minute snorkeling tour. I got it and tried to set it up and....it didn't work. It kept getting stuck in a cycle of turning on and off when the screen saver activated. I went through the customer support but none of their solutions worked (but did cost me $$ because I bought a second new SD card since they thought that was the problem.) After determining it wasn't the SD card I was told to just replace the item through the Amazon process. I barely got the replacement in time, but thankfully, it worked this time. i was able to use it underwater with zero issues. Got some nice photos. They aren't professional photographer quality, but we aren't professionals and I was just looking for a reasonably priced camera I could use underwater and this did the job well.

This is our first Crittercam, and familiarizing ourselves with it, to be able to set it up appropriately, took a bit. It seems to work fine with great picture, quality, and great night vision, but I’m still trying to figure out how to keep it working with regularity. Probably is my fault, and I’m trying to work through the process. The problem could potentially be the SD card that I have reformatted. Otherwise, I really like the camera!

Really nice camera. The picture quality is great. I really like it. I tried a couple other cameras but they picture quality isn’t as good as this one. My only problem was that it wasn’t giving me notifications all the time but to solve that concern I installed an SD card to ensure that it’s recording 24/7. Their customer service is really great. I was at first skeptical coz you can only contact them by email but they are very good responding within 24 hours. Good cam & customer service overall

I liked the product, but it came defective, it makes a very weird thing, it saves videos in photo file and when I open it with the camera to see it it crashes and I have to constantly remove the batterie so it would work again. I made my complaint with the providor and they told me it was because of the SDcard but I bought a proper sd card for it, however i decided to try their recommended one, SCANdisk but the problem persisted. They finally agreed on refund.

I don’t know what’s going on with everybody else is maybe you got a bad camera maybe you’re just not taking your time you take your time hook it up right you can put 126 GB mid SD card in it I don’t know what the problem is but I have no problem with mine it is a absolutely perfect night vision good cameras good I just format my SD card when it starts to get full and it works fantastic just hook it up and go just to you have to do what it says or it will not work right other than that I’ll definitely give it a 10 star if I could because it does work right thank you very much it’s worth the money if you take your time and do it right it will work but if you don’t take your time and do it right it’s not gonna work for you have a little faith don’t get in such a big hurry thank you
