We found this item helpful in blocking out noise. While some of the sounds would make it harder for us to sleep, the white noise, ocean, and rain are helpful. One thing that's important is to get the volune loud enough to block most of the sounds you want to block but not loud enough to be annoying. The unit is small enough to take along when we travel by car, but probably not by plane. But it's also big enough to have a decent speaker. It's what we expected.

A great speaker.
I have been very happy with this speaker. Great sound quality, and gets plenty loud for me. I know there are more expensive speakers that will probably have better bass, but I have been very happy with this.

Loud little machine!
I love this. We have to keep it at a lower volume otherwise it’s super loud on the monitor. But good just in case we have loud neighbours and need to drown the noise out. Needs to be charged every so often. Sometimes forget and in the middle of the night it dies. So remember to charge it! That’s the only thing that I dislike but that’s more my fault. Has many different sounds but we keep it at the white noise. Definitely can’t live without this thing.

Excellent speaker's for the price, but no real vol
I purchased these speakers as a cheap replacement for some old ones that gave out. I wasn't expecting much considering the cost, but they turned out to be excellent speakers. The bass response is a little weak, but what do you expect for $11? Anyway, the most annoying thing about these speakers is that there is no real volume adjustment. You can change the volume level on your computer from between 1% and 100%, but these speakers are almost just as loud on both settings. You can't really make them quite. There is maybe a 10% difference in volume between the highest and lowest setting.

Fun size music
I like the fact it's waterproof,it's small, can get loud,but not too loud,just the right sound for , picnic or barbecue,and back yard fun,not too big and bulky

Great but loud
Love the size, performance, and price, but they are really loud. Like, you think maybe the drive is bad, loud. But it keeps performing well, and passing the diagnostic checks, so I'm happy.

Portable loud speaker
Bought this for a trip to the beach. Sound quality is great. It’s tinny but it is loud. Louder than a more expensive speaker. One problem that I ran into was that your phone has to be near by for good connection.We played it indoors no problem. When we played it outdoors the connection was not great that’s when we discovered we needed to have the phone really close to it. Unfortunately I lost the speaker probably got left at the beach in Destin. But I will order another one. It’s small, portable, loud, and great quality for its price.
