I own a Sansung smart watch but the battery life was very short. I got this Amazfit GTS2 Mini because of the great battery life. Both watches were to aid in counting steps and to use as a timer for daily physical therapy reps. Both watches do a void job at counting steps and tracking sleep.I like the weight and finish of the Amazfit. The battery life winds out hands down over the Samsung and is stellar. The short comings for me are that you can't customize your timer (countdown). I need 30 second timer for my pt exercises. There is no way to customize RECURRING timer. You have to manually scroll to 30 seconds each time. If you ask Alexa to set reoccurring timer you only get one and have to keep requesting. AMAZON PLEASE FIX THIS. Now that I have the watch I see that many people have the same issue.The mobile app is a little difficult to navigate but getting used to it.If a timer isn't an issue or answering phone calls, this is a great watch for the money.

I like the watch but it doesn't do anything my phone doesn't already do. Actually my phone does more.

I primarily got this watch so that I could keep my disc golf scores without having to pull out my phone after every hole. Once I got the phone connected to the watch via bluetooth, this has worked great.An added benefit is having access to all my text, slack and email messages coming through the watch as well. I have the watch set to pull notifications on my phone, this allows me to quickly assess whether I need to respond to something or if I can deal with it later. I choose not to load the watch with all the applications themselves as I do not want the watch to be sending alerts all day long. That has worked great for me.The watch is easy to use once you understand which swipe takes you where, you can customize what you see in most cases. The bottom button is also customizable. The wrist strap is comfortable. The battery last a couple days for me and if I need it to last longer, I can get a week or more in battery saver mode.I customized the main watch face but the watch has a default battery saving face that in not customizable, I would like to see that made adjustable, at least with colors.Would recommend to anyone looking for a WearOS watch (that is supposed to take the update coming soon) that doesn't want to pay $300 plus for a watch. I got mine on black Friday for about $130.

Let me preface by saying I decided long ago that smartwatches are basically notification engines that can also keep you from having to constantly take your phone out. Also, they do some health tracking. If you see a smartwatch as anything other than that, this review probably isn't going to make sense to youI've owned, a AppleWatch, a TicWatch, a Galaxy Watch, an Amazfit BIP and this watch. I've used both iOS and Android. I do not understand why you would need anything more than what this watch offers. 14 (legit) day battery life. Bright, easily readable screen. Bluetooth notifications. Easy setup, and lots of watchfaces. What more do you want? Sure, the novelty of being able to take a call on my watch was neat (Galaxy Watch). It's just a gimmick/novelty. Yeah, being able to get emails on my watch while leaving my phone on a different floor in my office was neat. It just increased my anxiety about not being able to respond well (iWatch). The TicWatch was neat, but at the end of the day, the battery died after less than a day of use. The Amazfit Bip was amazing, but the screen left something to be desired.Then comes this watch, and seriously, what else do you want? I will buy this watch a 1000x over any other smartwatch. It's light, gorgeous screen. Good heath monitoring, with nice integrations to health apps. It's not perfect, but jeez...it's $90? You wanna spend $500 on another watch, it's your money, but dollar for dollar, you can't beat this watch.

You need to also buy the smart phone attachment, it does not come too. It's cute and the legs extend.

Smart bulbs are nice, but will quickly cost a lot of money, and if ya turn the switch off they will not work at all. With this you can fully control all your lights for much less, and it will even work if ya use the switch to turn them off. you do need a hub to connect it to smartthings and then to google home.
