Bright and rechargeable!
First off: charge the battery as soon as you get the light. It got the light going just after opening, and wasn’t too impressed with the output. Well, I plugged it in (included USB) and went to bed. The next night was a whole different light! I think the output is pretty darn close to advertised...at least 1000 lumens. So to the build: Right out of the box I was impressed with the hand feel and size, nice and narrow. The clip is great! That’s important to me as clips are often an afterthought. Clips have a lot to do with how I carry and grip a light. This one has a really good ergonomic shape and has a nice lip to help guide over a pocket into position for carry. You can reverse it too and clip on a hat. It comes with a 18650 battery and has onboard USB charging! Note: it uses button top 18650’s. Flat top will not work. This is a $20 light we’re talking about gang, not $40-60. For what it is, I’m impressed. If you have a limited budget or need a few extras for the house or trucks, I wholeheartedly recommend the L21.
