Good audio quality, but mixed results in usage
The microphones instantly pair with the receiver just by turning them on.It works well with Samsung Note 10+ using the native camera app to make videos. When plugged in, the phone recognized the microphone without needing to do anything in the settings. The camera app defaulted to using the mic in video mode as well, making it easy to use.It worked with Google Meet and Skype meeting as well, using the phone. Sound level was fine. It is a little weird having the receiver hang from a cable from the phone. But I like that setup better than those that plug directly into the phone. I have a FLIR camera and always am worried that I’ll bend it sideways when plugged into the phone and ruin the USB C port. A cable is less likely to be an issue since it isn’t as long solid piece sticking out of the bottom of the phone. It does not work as well with my PC, which is where I was hoping to use it. With the PC it doesn’t seem to have the same output level. It outputs relatively faint audio, which is not bad in some cases, but seems too low in others.I tried Skype and even though the level seems ok in settings, it is very faint on a test call. It comes out better by using the microphone on my webcam on top of the monitor, which is over 2 feet away from my mouth. Using Audacity, the sound level was clearly lower than with my headset microphone, the mic on my webcam on top of the monitor, or the built in microphones on my laptop. Sound quality was good, but level was low. These worked better in Skype Meeting and Google Meet. Since I talk louder in that type of situation because I’m used to using either the mic in the webcam or my laptop’s microphones, this mic setup is ok.However, it would be better if there was some software or something else to increase the level.I went into Windows 10 Sound Control Panel, and this mic receiver was on level 100 so could not be increased. My other microphones were at lower levels, which was surprising since I don’t think I set them. The driver is less than 2 months old, so is the latest version. I’m not sure if that may be too new a driver and perhaps an older one would work better with the receiver for this set. I also used the plug on the receiver module directly into my USB cable soundcard and the level was about the same that way. Usable, but probably not as loud as I would like it to be. If I were only using these with my phone or a video camera, this would probably be fine.Another minor issue is the mic clip doesn’t rotate, so it is fine for a button up shirt, but ends up sideways if it has to be clipped to something horizontal, like a shirt pocket or neck of a t shirt. I don’t know if it changes the audio, since the mics don’t seem to be directional.

Impressive product at this pricing point
Iron192 was built mostly from metal with knobs in high quality plastic. As its name states, the first thing I want to find out is that: Is it capable to capture at 192 kHz and 24 bit resolution? For normal recording for streaming or voice over (as in attached images), you can set up in Microphone properties on Windows. For professional recording in DAW (Studio one here), used ASIO4ALL to set the value. It will adjust itself be based on your DAW project setup to match either CD quality (44.1 kHz 24bit) or highest 192 kHz & 24 Bit. So the result from both testing came out great. It's truely a mic able to 192kHz without sound clipping.Do I have to plug in headphone/earbud to port beneath the mic when I connected the Microphone? The answer is No. You don’t have to.When plugin, it default to the mic and encourage to use the 3.5mm plug at bottom of the mic.But you can purposely select Playback Device back to your original sound device (sound card or speaker) and leave Iron192 only for recording device. Or in professional recording scenario, we can rely on ASIO4ALL to separate playback and recording devices in the options.Actually I suggest not to plug in your headphone to the mic in most cases. As the headphone connected to the mic tend to pick up environment background audible details and become really sensitive to the sound other than your voice. Please note, it’s not the "noise" it produces itself, it would amplify the sound in the environment. When you hear recording, you won't find those sound at that level of amplitude. Unless you want to verify your room setup or confirm you recording details. With the option that you don't need to connect your headphone to the mic, the sensitiy didn't bother as it is maily a mic.How was recording quality?I had another mic able to record only up to 16bit. Compare with Iron192, it is night and day. Iron produces clean and clear sound even at 192 kHz resolution. So it is not theoretical claim. It lives up to its specification. Some specification of mic even match/beats the ones sell by professional vendors costed three or four times of the price point. (For example, S/N ration 94dB, input Sample Rate 192kHz, Bit Rate 24 Bit)How was the MIC Preamp?Iron192 got 36dB preamp which is pretty decent. But won’t suggest to turn knob over 50%. It max out the reception level of the software. Though typical profession mic connect to an audio interface shall beyond 40dB and more. But that's different league in terms of cost. To be fair, this "preamp" is just default knob with the mic. It would be suprise if there was even a dedicated chip in it for that function (didn't open it to verify). What was its Polar Pattern? It’s Cardioid which means it captures most sound coming in from directly in front of the microphone capsule. Again in the front, it is metal mesh pop filter so we don’t need foam filter. The metal net also helps filtering out electromagnetic interference (like put your phone closer to it).Any other pros and cons?It came with adapters allowing you connect to USC-C port and apple lightening port. This really came in handy if you need to record to your phones no matter it’s Android or iPhone. It all works out of box without extra setup.Overall, it’s an impressive microphone. It's no-brainer at this pricing point. It’s sufficient and capable for Podcast and streaming recording. You will get clean sound. Even it maybe suitable for casual producers from home recording studio with its nearly noise free sound recording quality. (just from hearing not device-tested)

Great Camera and Good Experience
The media could not be loaded.

After using the WOLFANG GA420 for three months, I can provide a list of pros and cons. The Pros:1. It's a lot less expensive than a similarly-capable GoPro 8. The GA420 has image stabilization, 4K video capacity, slow-motion, image distortion correction and a host of other in-camera features for a lot less money.2. GA420 comes with a bunch of accessories, including a remote control, 2 batteries, lots of adhesive mounts and buckles, and a external microphone, making it an even better value.3. In good light, the video and picture quality are great, no less than the GoPro8. You can refer to the video and pictures I uploaded, but Amazon compressed the video and it looks great on my computer.4.The camera is waterproof by default, even without the use of a waterproof case. This allows the camera to be used normally in rain and snow. With a waterproof case will affect the sound quality, so I don't like to bring a waterproof case. The Cons:1. The GA420 does not include a battery charger, although you can use the included USB cable to charge the camera, but this is very inconvenient, I would prefer to have a battery charger included.2. Built-in recording sound is small and poor sound quality, you must use the included microphone recording sound to be able to be larger, but the sound quality is not improved. If you have a requirement for sound quality, then the GA420 may disappoint you. There is a lot of wind noise from the camera recording during the ride, you can hear the noise in my video3. When there is not enough light, the quality of video and photos will be much lower. But this may also be a common problem of sports camerasIn short, I liked a lot of things about the WOLFANG GA420 camera; it did have certain foibles, but I found that I could live with them if it meant paying up to $200 less than the cost of a GoPro 8.

A great wireless headset, not a good mic, and it i
NOTE: I got this for review purposes, but I am not endorsed by the company. Just provided this. Also, to explain my situation of use, I own a Blue Snowball Microphone, so I do not need headset mics. My head is on the smaller side, so keep that in mind.I've owned a few Logitech headsets, and honestly, I've always found they feel great. However, usually in my experience they've lasted maybe a year, then the cable is tangled and the headset dies, because the cord never is of good quality. Maybe good sound, maybe good mic, doesn't matter if it doesn't last. I was hesitant to even get this for review, but I decided I wanted a wireless headset for the first time, and that was always the failure point of Logitech headsets, the cords. So without a cord to fail, why not? When it arrived, I didn't even think it was a headset. Got it out, it's incredibly light. The plastic on it feels good like Logitech plastic does, but like I said, light. It made it almost come off as cheap at first. Charged it up, plugged the USB wireless connector in, turned it on. It fits my head perfectly with plenty of room extra for me, but most headsets are big for me, so I don't think everyone could use this and fit well. I play for hours at a time, up to over 8 hours of Youtube and Gaming, I've never once ran out of charge. It's light enough it's not ever uncomfortable for me after wearing it so long. I have had to turn it back on a fair few times after it's been running for hours, it does disconnect, but it's a very mild issue usually. Comes right back.Sound quality is good, but I'm not an audiophile, I can enjoy music on it perfectly. Microphone quality on it is not great, friends tell me it sounds like a Xbox Mic, but that's why when I'm at my PC, I'm using my Blue Snowball. When I'm in VR, I'm using my Oculus Mic. Noise cancellation on it is...eh? I mean, sure it does muffle some noise, but I would not at all call it a true noise cancelling headset. I would say it isn't noise cancelling. Maybe a 2/5 at best at that.Overall, I do recommend it, if you have a smaller head, and want a good wireless headset that is lightweight, made for long playtime. I would not recommend it if you're planning on using the microphone on it constantly if you're looking for a good mic though. Is it worth 80$? Maybe. It really depends on you, I think it can be, I would have to think long and hard and weigh my other options first. But I might have chosen this too then.

Best headset I've ever had the pleasure of owning
Hello, I'm the son of Angee who ordered this headset quite a while ago, and I've been compelled to write a review for these reasons:Ok, so I'm not going to write a full pros and cons list but here is my honest take. I have ALWAYS hated Bluetooth headsets. I hated the sound quality drop off, the lack of highs and lows, audio delay, how it takes up a USB slot (seriously though, if you're PS4/Xbox/PC doesn't have enough USB slots, which mine do now, buy a USB hub. So useful!) But with this headset, I have had no issues. The audio range is immaculate. Every level of sound is crisp and clear and can go from the dogs of war growling like heavy machinery on a mission to destroy in Battlefield 5 or to a sweet, soft and warm melody and sound when listening to mixes from Suicide Sheep on YouTube. The microphone isn't bad, but I use my blue snowball and audio mixer for my microphone. It isn't much meant for sound cancellation but ask my poor mom, it does it's job well! There is no noticable sound delay, the GHub driver that installs onto (ONLY) your PC is so helpful to fine tune the sound and check battery levels, the look is sleek and rich, the earcuffs are comfortable and never hurt my ears, even after marathons of time on my PC, the earcuffs also twist in from the band of the headset to sit level on your table or shoulders, as seen in my set up picture attached. By far the best headset I've ever owned, and even after I accidentally dropped it, my mom accidentally pushed it off my head, and it slid off my bed once, it never showed signs of damage. I have nothing bad to say about this product. You will not regret the purchase!

Pro's & Cons between Sony In Zone H9 Wireless Head
I'm currently using the Sony In Zone H9 Wireless Headset with my PlayStation 5 via USB dongle (2.4 Ghz) and paired up to my Android phone via (Bluetooth).I own two pairs of Pulse 3D wireless headsets (Black & White) both are still working in perfect condition to compare this written comparison review.I bought the H9's to see if my gaming experience would be better compared to the Pulse 3D headset. Here's the pros and cons for the H9's comparing it to the Pulse 3D wireless headset.Pros:• H9's are very comfortable. H9's don't squeeze your head as much as the Pulse 3D's. Very little difference between the two but slightly noticable comfort.• H9's feels lighter on my head. Both are pretty light weight headsets. Most likely this is from the bigger ear cups on the H9's.• Both are Glasses friendly headsets.• Both use USB-C to charge the headsets.• Both have easy volume controls on the left ear cup. H9's has a volume wheel for adjusting the overall sound which is more user friendly compared to the up and down separate volume buttons on the Pulse 3D headset.• Both are able to adjust the game volume and voice chat volume independently. (This is a huge pro for when playing online with friends.) H9's button's are on the right ear cup. Pulse 3D's are on the left.• Noise Cancelation on the H9's is the true seller for me. It's really good. By far the best feature to have on a gaming headset. Turning the Noise Cancelation On is as easy as pressing a single button on your left ear cup to adjust the level of noise around you. When I turn on the noise cancelation to max I can't even hear my window air-conditioner any more. Which was a distraction from my gaming experience.• Microphone quality sounds allot better as what my PSN friends say.• H9's are easier to rest around your neck because the ear cups fold in towards your chest. Pulse 3D's ear cups don't fold or move at all.• H9's are able to pair a Bluetooth device while gaming on the PlayStation 5. For example I can listen to music or answer phone calls from my Smartphone all while I can still hear the game and chat audio from the PlayStation 5. Tip: Best way if you're needing to focus on your phone call press and hold the mute button on your DualSense Controller to kill the voice chat and game chat audio from the PS5.• The Sound quality from the H9 headset has better Highs and Better Lows. I ran several tests with this headset both bass sound tests and vocal sound tests. Overall the sound quality of these internal speaker's in the H9's are a improvement compared to the Pulse 3D. Both headsets have really good sound for gaming.Cons:• The Price between the two is a $200 difference. Pulse 3D is $99 and the H9's are $299.• Can't mute the microphone with the DualSense Controller. (The Pulse 3D Wireless Headset also can't mute the microphone from the DualSense Controller unless you use the 3.5 mm headphone jack to the DualSense Controller. This is a minor complaint but logically it makes sense to use the most quickest way to mute yourself for thing's like coughing or sneezing. The DualSense Controller mute button is the quickest button that's near your hands while gaming. This is a major oversight for the PS5's firmware/hardware. Pro Tip: to mute yourself on the H9's you just flip up the boom microphone on the left ear cup until you hear a click or see the microphone is muted on the TV. With the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset you have to press the Mute button on the left ear cup.• If you're standing or sitting down and you bend over 45° and look straight downward to the floor the H9's slowly start to slide off your head. Pulse squeeze's your head slightly more so the headset doesn't slide off your head as fast. Nothing to be major concerned about because you typically look forward while play games.• H9's don't have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Pulse 3D headset does.• H9's don't currently have a EQ option to adjust on the PlayStation 5 compared to the Pulse 3D.Overall I'm impressed with the H9's. My only major complaint is the price and the lack of EQ settings on the PlayStation 5. Both issues could be resolved overtime. So if you're looking for a gaming headset and want good quality sound and the ability to cut out sounds around you while you're playing a video game I'd strongly recommend the H9's.If you're not wanting noise cancelation and are on a budget I'd recommend the Pulse 3D headset.

(Most of what I'm going to mention below, I talk about in the video included with this review. I just wanted to provide my review written as well.)The Good:The video quality on this webcam is very good in my opinion. It does struggle a little bit in low light though, but I'll talk more about that below. It was super easy to setup. I have a 10+ year old desktop running windows 10, all I had to do was plug it in!I like the closable lens too. It's just nice to know someone isn't looking at you, and you don't have to put a sticky note over it to be sure.Good form factor.I mean, most webcams aren't very large, but I just wanted to explain that this one is no exception. It also has a tripod mount, which I was using while recording the video attached to this review. The Bad:Obviously, the microphones.I do have a ventilation system running in the same room as me, and it is a little loud so I didn't expect it to be perfect. I just don't like the tin-can sound that this makes when trying to noise cancel the fans in the background. I think I almost would've rather just heard the sound of the fans.Noisy in low light.I explain this a little in the video. (I'm not a photo/video expert or anything, but I believe I can explain why it looks "bad" in low light.)I believe the camera sensor is struggling to pull details out of the low light areas. What's happening is, the camera is turning up it's own sensitivity to try to capture more detail, but at the same time, it's also causing itself (or the image sensor) to heat up or get hot. The sensor itself heating up, I'm pretty sure is what's causing the "speckled" look in the background of the video I included.Ankerwork Software:There's just not much here. Just basic image settings (brightness, saturation, sharpness etc.), video resolution, and microphone settings: (just omni-directional or directional). So overall, would I recommend it? Yes, for most people I would. If you have an external microphone (usb, xlr and interface, etc...) then I'd definitely recommend this camera. It'll work great for my personal setup, so I plan to continue to use it!If you don't have an external mic and you don't want to buy one OR, if you plan to travel and bring this camera with you and don't want to have to pack a microphone, then in your particular situation, I don't think I'd recommend this camera.

Sony WH-1000XM4 vs Bose NC700
Like many other people I agonised over the Sony/Bose choice and read all the reviews at least twice.I already had the Bose QC earbuds for walking and they are just excellent. One reviewer wrote “for the best sound and noise cancelling go for Sony, for other functionality and phone calls go for Bose”.I want the best music sound I can get and am not bothered about the gadgety stuff e.g. changing the noise cancelling when you walk around or speak to chat etc. I just turn it all off. I do need to speak on the phone as well.I read the reviews about the Sony microphone but didn’t really believe that Sony would release a product where part of it doesn’t actually work!So I bought the Sonys.I was really pleased to start with.Superb sound and excellent noise cancelling. People were calling me in the room or knocking at the front door and I couldn’t hear them. The sound is extremely good with noticeable bass that was pleasing at first but when I later did back to back tests with the Bose NC700 the Sony bass seems to add noise in places where the Bose gives superb clarity. The Sony app has an Equaliser to play with and includes some preset options. I think I found a better setting (+0, +7, +10, +7, +0) with no extra Clear Bass. After a couple of weeks people started complaining that my voice was cutting out during phone calls. This became worse and worse until people were saying they couldn’t hear me at all and I had to give up using the headphones for phone calls.I couldn’t help wondering if the Bose would have sounded even better so when the Sony microphone started playing up I ordered the Bose as well. The Bose’s music reproduction is stunning and sometimes, in certain parts of certain songs, makes the hair on the back of the neck stand up. That guitar cord or that piano note. Bass, voice, treble and drums crystal clear all the time. The clarity makes you believe you are in the recording studio with the band / singer or back at Wembley Stadium.Back to back testing of the two showed the sound is either the same or just that bit clearer and nicer through the Bose.As I said before the Sonys have a bit more bass but in my opinion it’s at the expense of less clarity and a bit more mid range noise.I haven’t felt the need to try the Bose equaliser.Noise Cancelling is nearly as good as the Sonys, but lets a bit more external noise through. It blocks out most surrounding noises but it’s not quite as complete as the Sony NC.Microphone - excellent phone call quality, never any issues.Bluetooth - well it’s bluetooth isn’t it. It gets a bit more confused than the Sonys when I’m swapping devices but for the benefit of the best music quality and a microphone that actually works I’m very very happy and working my way through my old music collection enjoying it all over again but hearing things I’ve never noticed in the last 40 years.I contacted Amazon who wouldn’t let me return the Sonys without going through Technical support and advised resetting them by holding down the power button for 7 seconds etc. It didn’t help. When I called back they put me through to Sony customer support who wanted me to send them to their repair centre. I didn’t want to get involved in that so Amazon then let me return them for a refund.UPDATE: 2 months later after working my way through my music library I am even more impressed with these. They are just brilliant. As for connection problems with the phone app, I just close the app and launch it again and it connects.
