Strong, lag-free sound
Just what I expect from Turtle Beach. Great sound and a solid headset. The ear cups are deep enough it doesn't feel like my ears are getting crushed. The sound for music is great and even more amazing for gaming. There is no discernable lag, so responses for FPS and stealth games are great.The microphone folds into the left side when not in use. When you need it, fold it down and it's confirmed by a light tone letting you know you're live. When you fold it back up, you're given another tone letting you know you're muted.There's also a "mode" button to switch between 4 different audio profiles. They provide varying bass and treble levels to suit your listening needs.So far, this is the best wireless headset I've found for my PC.

... was having issues working with a couple differ
My son's Lenovo T420 was having issues working with a couple different headsets like the kind that have the microphone for use with cell phones, so I purchased this interface for him. The unit has three connections - output (3-wire), input/output (4-wire), and input (2-wire). The middle 3.5mm jack was exactly the one he needed. Using Windows, the driver installed automatically and brought the device to life. We tested the unit on Skype and then with his game and both worked perfectly. I would highly recommend this unit if you have an order PC that doesn't support the 4-wire 3.5mm (cell phone) headset or if you are having difficulty with the existing 3.5mm jacks on your PC. I did not have the opportunity to test this on a Mac or I would have included my findings for it also.

Well worth buying!
I purchased this mic for my YouTube video voice-overs and I couldn't be happier with it. I got a pop filter at the same time, which does help the performance. It produces great tonal sound and I always have very clear recordings with no background noise. It is worth experimenting with the various options and getting it set up to work as well as possible for your intended purpose.I am no way a technically minded person (as you can probably tell!), I'm just someone who does some music recording and YouTube videos and I find this mic easy to use and I very much like the results it gives.I would honestly say that if you are in need of a darn good microphone at a very reasonable price, you won't go far wrong getting one of these. I am exceptionally pleased with it.

If you turn off the phantom power, it won't work at all.I'd highly recommend this cable!

Blackout looks a little too BLUE
Pros: Great acoustics for the price. Very solid base if not using a shock mount. Easy to use and understand. I can see why this microphone is extremely popular in the streaming community.Cons: The color is a little off. At first I thought it was an obvious shipping mistake since these things happen. I looked at the label (Blackout) then looked at the packaging (Midnight Blue). Double checked my order to make sure I had indeed ordered the Blackout version and promptly sent it back for the Blackout version.They sent me the Midnight Blue version again.I have come to the conclusion that either: 1) This is a joke and someone has it out for me or: 2) Robots are the ones responsible for finding and shipping the package, in which case this is the first step in the machine rebellion.I for one welcome my robot overlords and will work long hours for the share of foodpaste.

Good solution to my volume problem.
I have a Antlion ModMic 4 and was having some issues with my speaking volume being too low in Discord. It was difficult for people to hear me even with microphone options maxed and them adjusting my volume to 200%.I bought one of these to see if it would fix my problem, and it definitely improved my mic volume. Sometimes people tell me they get a little bit of weird noise here and there, but overall, it's been a definite improvement.I did have to download a program to forcibly lower my headphone volume, however. It made all the output super loud, even at 1% volume.Another thing is that it isn't difficult for the adapter's USB to slip out of the USB extender. I've since prevented this by just having that part on my desk.Overall, I am pretty satisfied with my purchase.

Good quality, at this kind of price
Pros: Good quality, at this kind of price, you'd expect to have something great. The sound is awesome, and it feels very professional in weight and design. Different modes work well. The whole microphone is easy to set up with its USB connectivity. I really like how you can use it as a sound card for your computer as it lets you hear yourself and fix any leveling problems that occur. Good buy overall.Cons: Few things to note: With a mic this size, it's hard to find a stand that works with it. (Or at least on a tight budget) You will also need some software to get the best quality out of it. Like a live sound editor. Paint also scratches kinda easily. It's not too bad but attaching certain accessories to it can just rip the paint off.

Easy setup for your new work-at-home conference ca

In the end, it reduces the fatigue that we all feel as we strain to understand and connect with others. The day I connected the microphone, many commented that I felt more present and clear. It wasn't me, it was the Blue Yeti X Pro.
