I bought this because I have tinnitus. I like the fan noise because it helps cancel the ringing and I can sleep at night.

I average 6/6.5 hours of sleep a night and I live in a noisy apartment complex so I wake up a lot during the night. I’ve only had this for 2 night but when I woke up, I fell immediately back to sleep with no effort. My body tried telling me to wake up at 6:30 this morning so I switched the sound and fell back asleep for over an hour! 8 hours last night!!!!!! Best purchase I’ve made in a long time!

I bought this for the fireplace sounds. It works great. Volume was plenty loud. Works week for my needs.

Oh my gosh! I love this sound so machine so much! Having grown up in a house with 3 sisters and one brother, it could get pretty loud In the evenings. I shared a room with my 3 sisters, and 2 of them were older than me, which meant they were on the phone with their boyfriends till all hours of the night, or they got home late which made for difficult night's sleep as a young person. My very large 6' 6 father was also steps away in another bedroom and man did he snore. Needless to say, I grew up using a sound machine, and now going into my 50s, I still rely on one to sleep.I owned a sound machine for almost 23 years, and on our last trip to Maine in February, my husband and I left it at the hotel. I felt like I lost my best friend and began researching new sound machines.We ordered one from Sharper Image and I absolutely hate the tinny sound so looked for others. I found this one on Amazon and YAY... I have slept like a baby the last 5 nights. The white noise is actual white noise and not tinny sounding and there is no loop in the middle that can wake you out of a dead sleep. I am so happy with this sound machine and plan to order another one. So, given that I am a sound machine connoisseur (haha) I highly recommend this one!!!

The unit is smaller than others that I have bought but it puts out a nice quality sound for its size.Good price too!

What i like about this light is you can either completely turn it off for the day let's say, or put in the motion mode, or it can stay on all the time which helps me when i go to the bathroom at night and don't want to step on my cat.

These are really bright for about a month, then less bright, but still beautiful, and I three sets!

you have to find your sweet spot sound, I like the fan .....just adjust the time & volume. I hear no funky noises from the Machine. It does help me to phase out any outside distracting noises.
