This is not a pro camera, but it will do the job.Pros:Long battery life, 8AA cells is a relatively big batteryManual is a 4 out of five. good english, but a little sparse in some areasUses a standard memory card up to 32GBSturdy build, good mounting optionsLots of options to take pics or videos, set the time of operation, length, and size of files.If you email support, they will answer pretty quicklyCons:Manual isn't perfectWill miss some motion, not a very fast triggerNo plug in power supply supplied, but you can buy and use your own 6V adapterMay take some experimentation to learn the best way to use it.pics and videos are a bit grainyIn summary; For $40+ bucks, it is a worthwhile, usable camera. I was able to see the mice, rats, frogs, and other rodents that were in range of the camera.
