Great video and sound!
Great little camera! There is a user manual inside, which is very helpful to me. It makes it easy to install and use the video camera cuz I am still new to such a camera. The picture and sound quality are fantastic...much better than using a cell phone or regular digital! I like it!

Great product for off the grid
6 AA Batteries required. great for off the grid usage. Its a digital screen with a digital zoom accompanied by a manual focus. Tested in my pitch black garage. it was able to pick up and show great details

I have had a 35mm camera before and several digital camera's. I was disappointed with some of the digital cameras because sometimes they had correct lighting and sometimes they didn't, sometimes they were in focus and sometimes they weren't all were auto focus. I was a little afraid to spend the money on an expensive camera( at least expensive for me),but I'm glad I did. This camera is so easy to use and it takes great pictures. I have taken pictures from a distance and gotten home, zoomed in on a subject in the picture cropped out the rest and the quality of the print was wonderful. Can't complain about anything so far. The price was right also.

Great package deal with crisp photos
I love that the beginner photographer can easily use this camera in the general settings, but there is also room to grow your skills with manual settings.The auto focus works phenomenally, and the picture quality is crisp and a leap ahead of the Panasonic camera I was using.

Love this digital Canon
I had the film SLR version of this camera and finally went digital. Love the movie capability as well as the instant feedback with pictures so you can practice with manual settings.

Excellent Camera - Video Just Okay
Camera is exactly as advertised. One item on taking video. It takes great video, but you basically have to use the manual focus while video-ing. Not the easiest when chasing a toddler around, but it works. I looked at other DSLR cameras that have continuous auto focus, but they tend to have a hard time figuring out what to focus on. Basically after hours of research I realized you have to choose your poison on the video side for lower end DSLRs. Either an auto focus that searches and is noisy or a manual focus which is only as good as the user :)We mainly bought this camera (upgrading from point and shoot) for pictures and for the price this camera takes amazing pictures. Also the shutter lag is virtually zero which is another great thing when you have kids. The video is also pretty good once you get the hang of it.

At this price these are Impressive
Night vision works really well for my purposes, pretty impressive for the amount of money. I had an issue with the video capture on the first unit not working, sent it back and had a new one within a day and have had no issues. The manual focus is decent, the digital zoom decent as well for what it is. At this price point I can’t say you should expect more.

This is a MUST HAVE!
Both taken in kitchen light with my own edits in Lightroom. I’m in love with this. The only “issues” of you want to call it is that you have to switch the focus on the body of the camera from auto in the software to manual so you can see your focus range. I love this thing!
