It freaked me out at first
When I opened the package, it freaked me out at first because I found strange fungus kind of substance that looked and felt disgusting. I wish I had taken pictures to post here. Once I cleaned that from the provided case, the actual tripod was good. I can recommend it but the way it came with the case was freaking me as if I was getting exposed to some kind of fungus or something. Probably it was stored in a dirty place where things grew the way mushrooms grow on the dead trees.

Great smart home addition
Great lock! I've been keeping an eye on the August Smart Lock for over a year and decided to finally picked one up when I saw it was on Gen 3 now.Initial setup on my Android phone was pretty easy and even the door sense works great in a less than ideal placement. After using it for a few weeks, I can say I am very pleased and glad I bought it! The geo fencing is very accurate, and knows when I am in the neighborhood, but only unlocks when I am a few feet from the door. I have the chime on and hear it unlock as I approach. I've got it set to auto lock when it closes and that has worked every time as well. I do have it setup with my Google Home, but other than checking if the door is locked, I have not really needed or wanted to use voice commands with it.

Handy size, very versatile
Easy to fold and packs up small so that you can carry it easily. Great value for the price, I use it all the time.

The light my scenes well but thy tip over easily.
The light my scenes well but thy tip over easily. I will have to tape the legs for complete stability. Other than that, I highly recommend them.
