This lens really shines in full frame!
I have the 5Dm2 and this is my first L-series lens (I couldn't afford the 24-105 when I bought the body), and boy is it great!I love the realistic skin tones, high contrast, and amazing color. The wide angle is perfect to get 3 walls in small room shots. I took some shots for a flower arrangement designer of some banquet rooms she did and they came out super sharp and got everything!At 17mm this lens does give a bit of distortion in the corners, but it's only noticeable if you're close to a wall, low low ceilings, etc.I am very impressed with this lens. Unbeatable for the price!

Brilliant UWA for full frame.
The L says it all. Colour rendition, AF, build quality... It's a wonderful lens. Absolutely value for money. Would recommend it whole heartedly. There are a couple better options. But only if you put in much more cash.

Great Allrounder
I had the S5 for some weeks now and I’ve been using it as a hybrid camera for family photos and videos as well as landscape photography. This is my third Lumix mirrorless camera (GH2 & G85) and I am impressed by the features packed into this small full-frame body. The autofocus works fine when taking photographs and for the most part for video, but could be improved for taking videos in v-log and at lower frame rates. Overall this is probably the best full-frame camera on the market right now if you consider the features that you’ll get for your money.

Easy to use and get started.
The wide angle enabled me to finally get a full shot of a mural my husband installed. Before we could not get the whole mural in the frame.

you dont really get this lens..this is only for fu
this lens is goodvery sharpand very goodbut not enough zoom rangeand it is only for full frame machinesespecially for film slr sbecause in a crop factor dslr it is not enough and it is not wide enough..canon 10-22 is more good than thisfor a full frame there is some vignettint issues and corner softness..so this is only good for film slrif you have rebel series or 20d 30 d go with canon 10-22if you have film slr buy this lens
