This camera is an excellent alternative to the GoPro. The selling point for me is that it accepts an external microphone. The touchscreen is very responsive and the optics are great. I would highly recommend the SJ7 STAR to those who are looking for an affordable action cam.

Best quality for the price
I got this sports camera to capture images and videos underwater. I was little sceptical about quality but when I compared photos captured with Asako brave 4 and GoPro hero 3 I had no doubt that brave 4 is better underwater.The water proof case works quite well. No water leak. And most important thing- price...for this price there is no better action tipe camera on the market!

Dont really leave reviews, but this one is differe
I went on vacation and decided to buy this product because it was the most affordable action camera on the market. I was some-what skeptical because it was so cheap but it proved me wrong. The quality of this camera is amazing and it works so good under water. the picture quality is also amazing and it is really worth the money. All the accessories that it comes with really make it the best thing to buy for $50 dollars.

Great camera at a great price!
I bought the Akaso V50 elite for my 9 yr old daughter to make videos of her exploring outside. It was definitely the way to go with an action camera. She not once needed me to figure out how to work or adjust the settings which I'm the one that everything gets brought to in the house to set up and get things working. The build quality at minimum matches other higher cost action cameras on the market and with all the extra accessories and 2 batteries you can definitely have a full days worth of fun recording. If your debating on which is the right camera for you or this will be your first action camera to purchase and there's too many choices.... This camera has definitely made a great impression to both myslef and my 9 yr old with no regrets. I hope this helps anyone who's in the action camera debate. It's was a great buy for us.

Greatest Action Cam on the Market!
This product ROCKS! It’s water resistant and 4K! Best $80 I have spent in a LONG time!One problem is the app is a little buggy buts that’s fine.Solid 9.7/10

Good tiny camera
Though I have to admit it didn't fit the purpose to me, I have to say I was surprised with the incredible good quality of the image. The stabilisation is very good, and the horizon levelling is something you cannot find in other products with that tiny size. If you need a portable action camera, and 2k is enough for you, definitely this is the best camera in the market that those check marks.

Excellent action camera, value for money
This is an excellent action camera that has thus far survived snorkeling, skiing, windsurfing, city biking and fishing trips. The LCD touchscreen at the back is the most useful future and is certainly an upgrade from the confusing button-based interface of previous generations. The wrist strap is also a handy feature. Beats the market for value at this price point.
