Perfect companion for my Canon EOS M. Build quality is decent and a recommended piece of kit for those low budget video creators. The adapter has allowed me to use some fantastic vintage FD lenses.

Got it for $79.99
I could have had a better deal if I bought it with the Canon EOS-M 18-55mm with speedlite kit and just bought the 22mm f/2 lens for $119.00. Any way, this one works perfect with the Canon EOS-M because, obviously, it's made for it. Very small and compact, manual flash control makes everything right!

Sturdy
Just arrived and delivered in good condition. Sturdy and very well fits in my Canon EOS M5 camera body without wobbling. Solid fits together with my Canon EF-S 55-250mm lens.

Access to EF lenses and works well with common vid
Bought this in conjunction with an EOS M body to make all my Canon glass work with the EOS M. Does that job very well, although the AF is still very slow, but that's a camera body problem, not the mount adapter. The adapter is solidly built, and durable in the field in tropical monsoon season conditions. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the adapter has a tripod mounting foot, that, when paired with the standard Manfrotto 501PL quick release plate, makes an EOS M stand up quite well on its own on tabletops. I put my 501 plate on when I bought the camera, and it's never come off.

Better than the reviews would lead you to expect
This is a big improvement over the original EOS M.Like the original, you can use all your EOS lenses with an adapter, as well as the small number of lenses designed especially for this format.I have a Canon G7x that performs very well, but the larger sensor of the EOS M3 have displaced it for many purposes.I think this camera is better than many of the reviewers have said.If you're a Canon user, and are looking for something in between a full frame model and a carry-everywhere, pocket-sized camera, you should definitely consider the M3.
