My new favorite lens.
I won't make this review lengthy, because it's all been said before, but I will qualify myself by saying that I depend on photography for approximately half of my income, and I recently purchased this lens after many hours of online research. I own a Canon 7D, and I was looking for a lens that would fall into the wide/portrait range with the 7D's 1.6x crop factor. This lens was bought as a replacement for my old Tamron 28-75, which was a respectable lens. The Canon 17-40 has thus far been a very solidly built, light, fast-functioning lens. It autofocuses VERY quietly with its ultrasonic motor, and the autofocus is very accurate. On the 7D, I have found it to be a capable portrait lens at 40mm, as well as a great lens for interiors. I bought it as a complement to the Canon 70-200L, for a lightweight kit, and while I am missing the 41-69 focal range, I haven't really needed it. The lens produces VERY SHARP photos, and is much more reliable in quality than the Tamron. I would definitely recommend it to 7D users wanting a versatile walkaround lens, or to full frame users looking for an ultrawide with great sharpness.

Must to have for any EF-M Camera - Solid add-on
Must to have for any EF-M Camera - Solid add-onProtect my investment. = Support all my Canon Lenses, and also it works with Tamron Lenses (I didn't see any delay to AF).Easy to use.Comfortable to use.Lightweight.Tripod adapter included.< Note : I bought the camera from B&H Store since they allowed me to apply the full discount offered by Canon < Camera + Mount Adaptar + Viewfinder = all for $1,050 >

Not cheap, but fine Tamron Lens Cap!
Nothing more to say, good quality, recommanded if you lost your original lens cap.

Great filter for the money
I bought this filter for my Tamron 17-28mm e-mount lens and love it. I haven't noticed any major color distortion and the sharpness doesn't seem to be affected at all either. The low profile seems to negate most vignetting you may encounter, but it does show up (unsurprisingly) if you stack this with another filter like a CPL. The gold ring is a nice touch too. I would absolutely buy these again as you get great results for the money.

I kept loosing my camera lens caps
This is my second order of these, because I now have more lenses. I was having the problem of loosing my camera lens end caps, so bought some of these several years ago. It has solved my problem. I haven't lost any front lens caps since I began using them. Now considering using more to secure the rear lens caps too. The elastic stretches for all of my Canon lenses, and even the Tamron 18-400.

Tamron cap
Lost my lens cap on holiday abroad, so bought this as a replacement. Fits great on my Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 without any issues. Plastic feels good quality.

Relatively light weight and fast! And very sharp w
I just took this to Alaska for a week and it performed perfectly on a Z6 for wildlife and landscapes. I chose this over the heavier and slower Tamron 150-600 g2 which is great, but well ….it’s heavier and a bit slower. I LOVE this lens for both wildlife and landscapes and it is easy to carry.

Works with both EF Canon and Third Party Lenses fl
I have used this with various Canon EF Lenses. Both Canon branded and third party brands such as Tamron, Sigma. The tripod mount is off center, but if you don't plan on using that, it isn't a big deal. Autofocus works flawlessly. The only drawback is that this adapter is not weather sealed like the Canon one is, so -1 star for that. At this price point though, if it's something you don't need, then this is a no brainer. Camera equipment is expensive enough already, so it's nice to save where you can.
