To be honest, when I unpacked the clamp, I was surprised how small it actually is - on the other hand, the dimensions were given correctly and the item corresponds exactly to the description. This type of clamp comes from industrial applications and is used, for example, in metal construction. I would even say that every welder or stainless steel professional uses these extremely strong industrial clamps.
In principle, they do the job of a screw clamp, but they have several enormous advantages:
- Due to the much smaller space requirement, they can be used in confined situations.
- It can be attached very easily with one hand
- The screw path is shorter, a few turns are enough and the thing fits perfectly - The lever travel is much more effective than with a normal clamp
- so the clamp holds even when vibrated.
- The clamp holding force is incredibly strong.

Unfortunately, the contact surfaces on this clamp are quite small - a set of 3 with different sizes in this quality would be brilliant. Speaking of quality: It's amazing - the rotary lever is made of solid aluminum, easy to grip and operate. The jaws are made of steel, nothing wobbles, nothing rattles, everything feels full and solid.
In short: This clamp fulfills the product promise 100% and should not be missing in any workshop (preferably in multiple versions).
