The gearhead makes a good impression
An “improved” successor model (according to the manufacturer on its homepage) is currently also available at the same price, which also includes an additional panoramic position that can be clamped on top. As you can easily see from the outside, the (se) 1st version is still milled, the 2nd version is made of die-cast. This significantly reduces production costs.
I bought the panhead for shooting static subjects with a telephoto lens, which are very difficult to adjust with a ball head. However, practical use is still pending.
