Very nice tripod
The tripod matches the description. It’s great for a phone (a bit tight for large ones though, like iPhone 14 Pro Max that is on the photo, but it’s still manageable ). It holds a full size camera pretty sturdy. The tripod’s head rotates in three planes, so you can shoot in portrait and landscape. It’s center piece can be pulled up quite a bit, but the tripod is not very steady if you do so. The absence of some kind of a quick-mount plate for a full size camera is a bummer, but the tripod is relevantly cheap and is not meant for professionals, so it’s ok. The remote works only with phones. It would be a great benefit to be able to connect it to a full camera as well, but, as I said, it’s not meant for professional photographers, so you can get around it using the camera built-in timer. It’s not very large when fully closed compared to its maximum height. You can put it in a large backpack. I guess you could find something even more portable for travelling, like “Peak Deaign” travel tripod, but it’s 400€ and has similar minimum dimensions.
So, I guess, it’s a pretty good tripod for its price, and it is 40cm unlike almost all its competitors with 50cm minimum length. It’s great for an occasional landscape photo or taking photo of yourself (or everyone in your group at once), or for shooting a video of you by yourself.
