Hack to make lens cap removal easy!
I will start off with a hack I came up with to get the lens cap off easily when you have a lens hood on. I picked up a two pack of Cell Phone Ring holders that stick to the back of cell phones, they fold flat and pop out to hold phones with or prop them up by. I attached one to the center of my lens cap and it makes cap removal super easy on both my short and long hoods! The ring was $8.00 through Amazon and works great.
The filters seem to be decent quality, I am a retired professional photographer who burned out about a decade ago and literally wore out my camera bodies and sold my gear when I retired. I am now traveling and decided to at least pick up a nice full frame Canon again for my trips, this filter set will work just fine for what I need, I’ve tested it on my neighborhood fountains and it darkens the photos enough to provide a nice smooth blur, the CPL works great on the water reflections on the pond. I have no doubts this will work fine for my Iceland trip (though I may add an N64 just to be safe).
