Excellent filter for making images softer
This filter is both a polarizer and a diffusion filter, allowing you to reduce highlights. Yes, it will make the image softer, but that's the desired effect, especially for filmmakers and photographers seeking a vintage look.
The filter's quality is excellent; it's made of aluminum, yet remains lightweight and very well-made. The cleaning cloth is a nice touch and always welcome.
The quality is excellent. I use it with a Sigma 40mm Art (EF) lens, and given the sharpness of this lens, this filter is an excellent addition for making images more authentic and less harsh, as well as significantly reducing reflections, particularly with sensitive lenses.
The price is high, but the quality is there, and it remains inexpensive compared to other brands, so I highly recommend it.
