Smooth Adjustment and Excellent Optical Quality
Feels like a premium piece of gear right out of the box. The build quality is solid, and the magnetic attachment system makes it snap into place securely without any wobble.
I use this mainly for super bright days when I need to keep highlights from getting blown out, but it would be great for a bunch of other shooting conditions too. I like the way the adjustment ring turns smoothly with not much resistance and that the markings are easy to read. Also, the textured edge gives me a good grip when rotating the filter, which I noticed one day when I was shooting outside and my hands were really cold, so it was a big help.
Optically, it performs very well. I didn’t notice any obvious color shift, and it keeps my images super sharp. The multi-layer coatings seem effective—reflections are minimal, and the glass is crisp and clear.
