This is a quick and easy filter kit that makes it possible to use slower shutter speeds or wider apertures in bright sunlight, perfect for creative effects like smooth water. To get the most out of it, your camera needs to be in Pro/Manual mode - in Auto mode the phone simply compensates by raising ISO or altering shutter speed, cancelling out the effect.When used properly, I’ve had excellent results. The variable ND ring rotates smoothly and confidently, with firm stops at ND2 and ND32 so you always know your position. I much prefer this to filters that spin freely. The glass quality is very good, offering clean, controlled light with minimal glare or distortion.The universal clip works, but it feels a bit clunky and isn’t ideal for certain camera placements. On my Samsung, where the lens sits at the top corner, the clip attaches at an awkward angle. Phones with large camera bumps or cases thicker than about 10 mm may also struggle.That said, when paired with the Xiaomi Ultra 15 Photography Kit and its dedicated 67mm attachment ring, the filter performs beautifully. The optics are clear, the adjustment ring is precise, and overall the results are excellent.In short: the glass and performance are exceptional; the clip attachment is functional but not perfect. Still, it’s far better than budget “clothes-peg style” clips thanks to its perpendicular fit and cushioned grip that protects the screen.
