With a little effort, you can make this work with a MagSafe case
The bad news is that, as delivered, this will not work with a MagSafe case. That’s because cases have a ridge around the camera lenses. That throws the holder out of alignment, so the magnets don’t hold firmly. Another problem is that even with the weak hold, the filter isn’t aligned perfectly, and you get a lot of vignetting when you use the wide-angle lens.
The good news is that you can “fix” the problem by sticking a MagSafe wall magnet to the filter holder. That will result in a rock-solid hold between the filter and your phone. Even better, if you can get the bottom of the magnet 19.5 mm from the bottom of the filter holder, then everything will line up to eliminate any vignetting, even when using your wide-angle lens.
