I like this clip-on action camera mount. It basically allows you to mount a camera to any thin, flat surface. It's got some foam/rubber padding inside the clip to protect the surface and locks down nicely. The mechanisms and machining look great and, while the handle color doesn't match my bike, it's a clean enough look more like a highlight and less of an eyesore. The camera side of the mount will work with either the included 1/4-20 mount or a GoPro style interface directly.
