Physically the recorder is quite solid and has some weight for a device of it’s size. The buttons click solidly. A nice feature is that you have to slide a large switch up on the front to start recording and then down to stop. There is no accidental turning on and off and you don’t have to worry that you hit a wrong button.The instructions are pretty good. They explain how to download the app. Use the QR code in the instructions (android) because there is already another ‘SoniCloud’ app on the Play Store that is for something else.The transcribing is pretty good, not perfect, but good enough to start your notes or report. I did not test other languages.At first I thought it would only be good for personal notes but then I tried the ‘Meeting’ mode which apparently activated the second microphone and changed the sound profile. I walked around talking and sounded pretty much the same from any angle.Check out the different modes for you situation.Moving around the menus and features takes a little learning but is definitely worth it. This is a full featured recorder. Oh, it has a magnetic back too.
