more fun than I was expecting
These are quite nice filters. Nicely made, and a fun way to inject some sparkle into your shots. I had an entire sd card worth of stuff taken with these filters that I now have no idea what I've done with, so here are some shots and a video I set up this morning in studio so I could write this review.
Thoughts: These won't be for everybody. The effect is pronounce and strong. That being said...for those who enjoy playing with light and all the ways it stretches bends and bounces...these are a blast. I spent and hour taking these shots because I was having fun just setting up different scenes to capture the way it sparkles. The six point is by far my favorite...the 2...well it can be more difficult to make it look good in a composition. I love the effect with running water or the waves atop the lake. Rain was a LOT of fun with it, as you can really find places that light up. Overall, if you are just looking for inspiration and like light...this can be a really great way to get those creative juices flowing. Just know what you are getting into.
