Excellent choice plus bonus lens cap
bought this a couple days before going to a camera shop to pick up a lens and the salesman at the camera store said this was a good UV filter because upon looking at it you could see the blue and green colors which keeps unwanted glares out. Great filter and every lens should at a minimum have a UV filter for lens protection. The cheap, clear ones have an effect on image quality. The magnetic lens cap? I was taken a bit by surprise with this one but find it quite handy and it stays securely in place. A worthy investment.
