A really good value on a really good tripod
I think tripods are my single most important piece of gear and own 5 of them. I purchased this one. This tripod is solid and can get the support needed to get sharp shots. It extends high enough that I don't have to kneel down to see through the viewfinder, and even when it's fully extended, it's remarkably solid.

Pleasantly surprised
I use this as a dashcam, and I'm positively surprised at the picture quality. It's on par with much more expensive specially-designed dashcams, and the video quality can give my GoPro 3+ Silver a run for the money. I would install the latest firmware as soon as you get it to get all the features.That said, there are some quirks. Sometimes the computer doesn't always recognize the device and I have to plug/unplug it in a few times to work. Also, I set this to record automatically when an external power source is applied, but every once in a while it just powers on into standby mode without recording. The documentation (which you have to look up yourself) isn't always 100% clear on the operation, so if your use case is very specific, you'll need to set aside some time doing research on internet forums or experimenting yourself.

Works well for a small device
The video quality is pretty good for such a small device. It does get hot, but have not had any trouble with it not working correctly.
