A significant improvement on iphone
Since the pandemic struck, I have been doing a lot of filming/recording using my iPhone XR (for online church services some live streamed and some pre-recorded). I had been pleased with the picture quality but the sound left a little to be desired (even after editing and amplifying) when streaming the videos so I looked to find a microphone that would improve the quality of the audio recordings. To use this on my phone required an extra purchase of a 3.5mm jack to lightning adapter.
Having tried it for a pre-recorded video, the sound quality is a step up, even with the microphone about 3m away from me. It was a little louder, but significantly clearer. It may be a while before we live stream a service (as lockdown 2 starts today) so I will have to wait and see how it works there. (I have also bought a lavalier microphone to use for outside recordings or where I'd need to be further from the microphone as I don't think this would be so good for that, but haven't tried it yet.

Everything looks good right now, I will highly rec
I was attracted by the discount code on YouTube! The discounted price is very good, the features are new and comprehensive, and it has the functions of most new cameras. I have been using this camera for a week and it is really good!· I prefer outdoor cameras because I could use them outdoors and indoors whenever and wherever I want, and it's waterproof. This Noorio outdoor camera is wire-free and battery-powered. If I want to move it from outdoor to indoor, there're 2 mounts in the box for me to use, screwed and magnetic, so it could be installed on the wall, or stand on the table. Thanks to the completely wire-free!· It works really well in my house, and I don't have to pay more for an SD card or subscribe to plans for online storage. And I could install the cam all by myself. It saves a lot of money for me, I have to highlight this advantage for sure.· This Noorio cam works only on 2.4GHZ wifi (in the specifications), which is the same as my other devices, I'm ok with it, since 2.4GHZ cover the widest area, which is a must for the wifi camera to work well. But make sure your wifi is turned on the 2.4GHZ channel.· Other functions are working well just like the intro: easy to set up; high-quality image and night vision; Home, Away, Sleep, Disarmed mode; simple and clear app; very sensitive motion-activated spotlight, and it's bright enough and adjustable; useful activity zones (I could set up 3 zones which surprised me); human ai detection to filter notifications - it's accurate so far, 2 switches to set up for motion detections, quite easy and clear; it will send notifications to the phone, and battery percent is shown in the app, it's smart and cool; I could find more customized set-up in the app to meet my own needs.· Furthermore, my expectations are: longer battery life (it's said to be 180 days); accurate human detection recording in the events; will try to apply the free cloud storage for 1 year, and will update the performance of it later in the future; will test the 3 activity zones function.

Nice cam for the price, a bit of an image waver in
I haven't put this cam to a lot of use yet, but enough to form an opinion - and to ding it one star. That said, great price!.After charging the internal battery (for a few hours), the cam can be used straight away. You insert a micro-SD card, the cam will ask if you want to format the card (required), and you can then either shoot video or take photos with a push of a single button. You'll probably want to go through the relatively brief menu and set the date and time, the time stamp, resolution, etc., all quite easy. There was one glitch when connecting the cam to my computer (PC) using the provided cable. A pop-up on the computer screen said something about the required driver couldn't be found for downloading. A pop-up said the problem could be resolved by allowing an automatic search for the driver, but after I changed that setting I got a message saying the driver set-up was not successful. Although that message stayed in the pop-up until I closed it, the computer did recognize the cam, allowing me to copy image and video files from the cam to my computer. That seemed odd, but at least it didn't do anything that prevented the process from working. The reason I'm dinging the one star is that especially when filming panning from side to side, there's a slight vertical waver in part of the image on video playback. It's not bad but it's there. The first few videos I did were panning from inside an office building to outside, then back inside, and I was impressed that the camera handled the varying light conditions (dim interior, bright exterior, and back to interior) quite well.I wasn't sure why this cam is specifically marketed as a kids' camera, but at least one answer is that with certain button pushes - I haven't really explored this yet and I still need to read the tiny instruction manual - goofy little cartoon images appear on part of the perimeter of the camera's screen. Not sure what that's supposed to be about unless the manufacturer thinks kids want cartoon imagery on everything. (Or I just haven't figured it out yet.) The other answer is that this is not a camera with every bell and whistle, and the variable settings available are simple and limited compared to other cams I've had. The attachments provided are relatively limited, as shown on the Amazon listing. There might be more to this cam that I'll discover as I play with it, but I can at least say for now that for ease of use, decent (but not perfect by any means) video quality, and low price, I can recommend it as a starter cam. Or as a cam that you won't be nervous about turning over to the kids and finding they've strapped it to the dog!

Best price per dollar!
Ordered 3 of these about 5 years ago to shoot live music events from different angles. They held up well for the time and traveling all over the world with them. Now Im upgrading to the EK7000 PRO. The previous version did not have great low light capture - very grainy and pixelated, and had a lag on autofocus. This PRO version is a lot better quality in low light and quickly autofocuses during rapid lighting changes. Im pleased, but the batteries aren't great. I usually just tape a battery bank and plug it in. It lasts 10x longer. Not a bad adaptation for an $80 camera.

Great value for the money
When you read reviews you often see things like, not good for "deep space photography" and "too much color." These comments are true...to a point! I have had my Celestron 6" for over 10 years. This review is primarily for the optical tube since mine was used originally on an Celestron ASGT mount, the precursor of today's AVX.The tube is very large! Yard cannon is pretty appropriate! My son brought me my telescope from Oklahoma in the back of a small Nissan. Mount and tube took up most of the space in the car and my sons had to put their bags on top of the optical tube in the backseat. The ASGT mount, which is pretty much the same as an AVX mount, was sturdy and tracked well. The main issue with this scope is that the legs don't go high enough in some positions so you have to lay on the ground to look through the telescope. An extension from Orion solved that issue. The mount is also a bit light for a tube of this length. There is a lot of vibration if touched or bumped. Overall the telescope worked well with with this mount and was was even useable for imaging. The telescope itself was well built and came collimated. The focuser on my tube was marginal. I think Celestron has upgraded this piece in the last few years so don't know if it is still an issue. I was using a heavy SBIG cooled CCD camera and the focuser was not up to the challenge of holding it steady. So I replaced the stock focuser with a 2 speed focuser from GSO. Now it works well for any camera or eyepiece. In a 6" F/8 achromat you do get false color or chromatic aberration, but not as much as expected. It does not affect the views of planets or even the moon, other than a purple halo around bright objects. I now use a Minus V filter along with a UV/IR cutoff filter for imaging. This cuts the CA down to minimal levels. I have never found it to be a big deal but some people do. If you do then this type of scope is not for you. However, for the quality of the view, the cost and the size a little "purple haze" is a small price to pay.You can image deep sky objects. Be prepared to use routines to remove the false color if you use a one shot color camera. However, if you use a monochrome filter and 3 color imaging to make color pictures these things are awesome. Or you can do what I do. Most of my imaging is to do scientific photometry so I use narrowband photometric filters that eliminate the CA. You just have to know the strengths and weaknesses of the telescope to be able to use it effectively! The first image is from an Achromatic 4" with a F/6.5 focal ration. Notice there is little color in the image and it was taken with a one shot color video camera.

Easiest way to record interesting scenes.
I wear the thing all the time when I go out, and I can record any interesting thing directly by clicking on the button without taking out my phone or pointing it to anyone. The indicator shows that I am recording so people know that. This is my new favorite lifelogging camera. I won't miss a scene anymore. The build quality is also reliable. I once dropped it from the 3rd floor and it is still alive, even without much scratch.Just wish it is less hot. And the image quality is better at dark. Everything else is perfect.

Great! Well-made. Plug & play (Win10). Improved my
Overview: Well-made. Easy quick plug&play install on Wind@ws 10. Improved my resolution. 180° default, with auto-zoom. Great online support, plus an app for updates and greater control over settings. My experience: I plugged this into a powered USB 3.0 port on my Wind@ws 10 laptop, so I did not need an additional power supply. A plug&play screen flashed on, and then off. I opened a test meeting in the Z@@m app, and was able to select this cam immediately with no additional tinkering with settings. This cam defaulted to a 180° view, and auto-zoomed to me when i moved. I took photos of my built-in cam-video and this cam-video, and the improved resolution and color was evident. There is no manual in the box. The inside of the box lid has a support link and an app link. On the online support site, I had to navigate around a bit to answer my questions, and I quickly found a lot of useful info, including some demo videos. I downloaded their app, and I easily used it to update my cam’s firmware. There are easy to navigate settings in the app that give more detailed control of the camera including it’s settings at startup. You don’t have to work at 180° all the time :-) The cable appears to be standard USB-A to USB-C cable, and I was able to connect using another cable.Just a few complaints, and they are minor.- The info in the box should note that you need to connect to a powered USB 3.0 port, or else you need to get an external power supply. I assumed that, so it was fine for me.- The info in the box could be more detailed about what you will find online and in the app, such as access to updates. I guessed that, so it was fine for me.- The camera felt warm after half an hour’s use. It wasn't an alarming temperature, though I will make it a habit to disconnect the camera when not needed.I like the power and capabilities of this webcam. It is exactly the upgrade I was seeking for my video calls.
