Great camera bag for travelling!
Purchased this bag for an upcoming family vacation to Alaska. I wanted something to house my camera plus some extra clothes and things to do on the plane. The bag is larger than I expected and has plenty of room for what I need. My camera; a Nikon D3500 body, 2 lenses, and flash all fit nicely in the camera bag bottom. I like being able to rearrange the configuration inside the removeable camera case. The entire backpack is nicely padded and will help protect the contents. Several zippered pockets to store various things. I am looking forward to giving it the real test while on vacation. Because of the size, I won't use it as my regular camera case. Took off one star because of not having actually used the bag.

I bought this for my son rather than the more expensive popular model. I allowed him to select the number of stars as I have not used the camera. This is his second video camera after having a handheld one. He said the only thing that gives him trouble is the sound quality.I like that it has an app on my phone where he can access his videos.I do not know enough about cameras to give a thorough review but I can say if that your kid is interested in filming videos, this works well and is reasonably priced.

Works great underwater
I bought this camera for a trip to Hawaii so we could use it in the water. It works great and is perfect for that. it has an "underwater mode" that automatically adjusts like a red filter would do so your shots come out. comes with lots of accessories, all fully Go-Pro compatible. One thing keeps this product from 5 stars: the batter life is terrible. maybe 20 min. I had bought two batteries. and you still get short life. would be worse in the cold using for skiing. So buy 2-3 batteries and you've got a nice inexpensive camera.

Works well and good price
Purchased this camera mainly to use to capture video from helmet while skiing. It is really nice to have the remote to start the recording. The colors and image quality weren't amazing, but it works well. The touch screen was responsive, although the controls weren't exactly the most intuitive to use. For example, I kind of just push buttons to get it to switch between play and capture. The camera is a good size and it came with plenty of accessories. I accidentally took a 30 minutes video, which ended up draining the battery, so I'd estimate about an hour if shooting time.

great idea
I do like the idea and that it can hold my phone/camera for any type hands free outdoor stuff. However, I can't get it far enough back to record a bow shot. It will record an indoor dart throw with no problems. I think it would work for kayaking very well. One just has to get used to that heavy feel on the forehead. Maybe they'll make a lighter phone with a fantastic camera. If the phone starts doing some silly thing on its own I can't tell from my angle.

Great value
Purchased to tape youth hockey games. I own several gopros and wanted to save some money so bought this to try out on the recommendation of a friend. I have not needed to use 4K but at 720 resolution the quality and color are super. The carrying case that comes with the camera is awesome and the additional batteries are bonuses. PLEASE note that the camera will only work with a microSD Card up to 32 gb. That is not a lot of space, but isn't an issue for me (its the max size that can be imported into an ipad anyway) but may be an issue for some. Bottom line: well worth it if you are looking for a value alternative to a gopro.

the cheap gopro is still a gopro
If you like the idea of having a tiny camera you can stick anywhere to get interesting shots, and you're not working on a big budget production, this is a great camera to have on hand. Its picture quality is good, not excellent, but good enough for most things.Some people like vlogging with a gopro, and if that's your main reason for wanting one, you'll do fine with this one. It doesn't record in 4k, it can't go higher than 60fps without turning the resolution all the way down to 480p. But these are usually non issues for vloggers.

Does what it says on the tin!
This drift camera is pretty good. The size is great, fits my hand nicely. It took me a while to get used to it, as I haven't used one of these in a while, but the resolution was good, and the battery life was excellent. I found that using lower resolution made the battery last longer anyway. It charges pretty fast, and I've also had some good still shots. It's a bit of a workhorse, and has done everything I wanted it too, though I've not taken it out on the water yet! But for the money, it's a good, no frills action camera.

Tough as nails, as good as GoPro
I have thoroughly enjoyed this little powerhouse camera. The image quality is astounding, it even does better in the dark than some of the reviews would lead you to believe. I have not given it an easy life, it has been with me on all my adventures, and it has never let me down. It uses all the same brackets and attachments as a GoPro so there is no shortage of ways to attach it to your stuff. I got a couple extra batteries because I like to shoot in high FPS and that can go through batteries pretty fast. At this price point there's no better camera.
