Took my streaming and filming to the next level
As a beginner in filming and streaming, these softlights really improve the visual quality of my streaming and recording sessions! They provide a consistent and uniform brightness that fills the entire room. The accessories included are also extremely beneficial, especially for photographers. This kit checks all of the boxes: Affordable, Functional and Simplistic.

Great for beginners like me
I love this set. It has been about a year and I have only had to replace the lights and that’s due to my clumsiness. The backdrops are thin and I would suggest purchasing more clamps. It’s a little hard to get the lines out of the backdrop as well but with the right editing software that’s not a big deal. I would definitely recommend this to a beginner who just needs an affordable starter kit.

Decent starter kit for the money
Be aware that the stands are a bit flimsy, and plan to replace the somewhat dim bulbs with brighter ones (it can electrically accommodate bulbs 3x brighter). But considering the entire kit costs less than a single pro-quality soft box, it's a good deal for a beginner like myself.

Good kit but bulbs weren’t bright enough for me
I appreciated this kit, as it is comprehensive yet easy to set up, put away, and store - great for beginner/amateur photographers. The reason it didn’t ultimately work for me was the bulbs it came with were not bright enough for photographing in areas with low level of natural light.

A solid Intro Cellphone Rig
A little cheaper feeling than I expected but that's not a big deal for me. I just have to be careful with. It is definitely a beginner's set up (which I am!!) But, for what I do, this is the perfect addition to my YouTube production kit.Keeping it cheap!!

This kit is perfect for recording or streaming videos. It has added so much definition and clarity for my livestream and I am glad I followed the other reviews about the same. A great beginner kit with all you'll need for the long run. I included some pictures in this review to give you a sense of just how well lit the videos are now with this kit. In one image you see just the room lights (I added a shop light to see if it worked and it just didn't do the job). The other is with the lighting kit in place. WOW! I'm thrilled with these and I might add one more light for some overhead light but I could easily thrive with these. In fact, my streaming audience commented on them the first livestream with the lights. Happy viewers means happy ME!

Great beginner continuous lightning kit!
I am learning Photography, I live in an apartment and do not have a lot of space to spare, this lighting kit came in very handy and helped me improve the quality of my photos, I’m very pleased with the quality of the lighting and this kit has everything you need. I think it’s a great beginner kit and I would recommend to anyone looking for a continuous light setup, I only wish the power cable was longer so I would not have to use an extension cord, but that is not a big deal. Overall it’s very easy to setup and I finally have professional looking portraits of my daughters!
