Lightweight, portable, excellent battery life, and the (free) app is easy to use and intuitive. It's also nice that a small screw-on foot base is included to keep the gimbal free standing on a flat surface when needed. The button combinations to switch to the different functions (ie. follow mode, sports mode, inception mode, timelapse, etc) take a while getting used to, so keep the manual handy at all times. After playing around with the gimbal 3-4 times, I didn't have any trouble remembering which buttons to press on the interface circle on the handle. There are plenty of functions this gimbal is capable of that should make camera videos look much smoother, more polished, and dare I say, professional? The only thing I would like to change is the joystick sensitivity (I don't use it much to pan the camera, but when I do, I find that even a small amount of pressure makes the camera pan too fast or too slow. Would love it if I could adjust the sensitivity, just like the zoom when using the side buttons for tele- and wide-.Hope this can be corrected with a firmware or software fix! Overall, this is a superb (and surprisingly affordable) product to get one's feet wet into the world of amateur videography. There are tons of videos online that show how to best make use of this gimbal with your smartphone.
