Using Skype and most other programs limits the quality to 1080p vs 4k, but it's still really good. I prefer an external mic so I can't comment on the audio quality. Low light performance is really good though. And using Windows Hello is a nice touch. 4.5 stars

Brilliant audio quality for video calls, streaming and recording. The multiple modes add flexibility and the stripped back features of this vs the yeti x make it feel solid and reliable right out the box.

I purchased this item, after having used the "Bestguarder 6x50mm HD Digital Night Vision Monocular". Because I was IMPRESSED with it's NIGHT VISION CAPABILITIES; and being able to take PICTURES & VIDEO WITH SOUND; which is the main purpose for my purchase. I was amazed how well & clear I could see at night with just moon light or VERY low ambient light ! They performed as good or better than Gen 2 NV Goggles (5.000+). Night became DAY, with every detail even in the very dark bushes. I could even see buildings & objects @ 300 meters, which I could NOT see with my naked eyes. The optics & Night capabilities of this device are EXCELLENT. I was blown away by how GOOD they performed even WITHOUT the IR (IR0).I use the Sight Mark NV Monocular mounted on my Fast PJ Helmet for hands free operation when I'm in pursuit of the bad guys ( Security Work), while handling my radio, weapon & other gear @ the same time. But when I'm ON STAKEOUT, and taking PICTURE or VIDEO EVIDENCE, without having to multitask with my hands; DEFINITELY The NV-900 is MY OPTION! Way BETTER Image & Optics, GREATER Field of View, BUILT LIKE A TANK, and also GREAT ERGONOMICS without temporary night blindness. In my line of work I use both; (Can't sell my truck to buy PVS-14's), but I LOVE THESE compared to my Gen 1. If you're a Preper like me, or work Law Enforcement, Security, or a Hunter, Camper, Hiker, Explorer, or just want to Observe Nature, and capture those moments when day turns to night & the critters come out to play THESE ARE THE ONES for You!
