Great sound but large headphones
These things are huge. Compared to other over ears, these are big and they have deep cups. This doesn't really affect sound quality, but I'm not sure why they're so large. They do have a cool light on the side. Maybe all the extra room is for the battery.These feature great ANC that is up to Sony standards. Sound is great in games and movies. Music isn't nearly as good as dedicated music headphones, but it works in a pinch. These are not equal to the WH-1000XM5s by any stretch, but they still sound pretty good.Overall, these are great for gaming. Honestly, the best sounding gaming headphones I've heard.

Fantastic headphones for the price
For a budget, these headphones are fantastic and have a wide range of sound. I will say it's a tiny bit limited in its higher frequencies, but it gives a rich bass and good mid. Excellent for music listening or gaming...and you simply can't beat the price point.

Great for music, 4/5 for gaming
Sounds really good for music, not what it is intended for but really good bass and sound for music. Slight complaints about mic but overall good for gaming too. For the price cannot complain.

Great for gaming but not for music.
I 100% recommend this for gaming purposes but not for listening to music. It lacks bass I have to turn on my amp from my old turtle beach headset all the time for it to have bass.

Great for gaming, music
I'm not really informed on how sound quality can be, but I think this headset sounds really great. It has good noise cancellation. It lasted me a long time. I broke my previous headset of the same type because I would sleep with it on, which is my own fault. Even when I would do that, it lasted years.

Gaming yes, music no.
Per the headline, this headset is great for gaming, which is what I mostly do. However, I also enjoy listening to music as well. The sound quality is superb but the bass I found lacking. I had all my sound volumes on my PC maxed to 100 but the volume of the sound and the bass was underwhelming. I had high hopes for the HyperX Cloud Alpha S but it wasnt for me. Not saying its not for anyone else. I'm sure many people do love this product, not I.
