I am a professional architecture and interior photographer and also do videography. Was looking for a tripod that is light yet stable and sturdy (since my equipment can be heavy i.e. tilt shift/telezoom lenses, and expensive). This K&F tripod ticked all the boxes and the price point is perfect.

This tripod has an excellent and smooth quick release system which is important for me especially when moving from location to location during the critical lighting window for outdoor shots.

The tripod's height is impressive and it can be extended with an option to attach additional weight at the centre of gravity point to make it even more secure.

The tripod's colour is vibrant and the finishing is smooth.

I personally prefer twist locks for the tripod legs, although this is definitely a matter of personal preference. The legs can also be extended outwards using the quick release clip to have an even lower height. This may be particularly helpful when trying to get a lower vantage point for artistic reasons, such as when focussing on the foreground.

Would definitely reccomend as a studio or outdoor tripod or even for events and travel! Carbon fiber tripods are ideal for travelling.

I'm very satisfied with the K&F Concept 172cm carbon fiber tripod. It's impressive in every respect. Even the travel bag is high-quality and made of robust material. The fabric can even be wiped clean with a damp cloth to remove dirt.

The tripod itself is ultra-compact and super lightweight. The tripod legs fold completely flat, so it shrinks to a minimal overall length for storage and transport.

On the other hand, the telescopic sections extend to an incredible height of over 1.70 m.

The stand is very stable and adjustable at all three feet. The tripod's leveling is easily checked using the integrated indicator.

The ball head proves to be extremely practical, easy to adjust, and locks securely in place.

The quick-release plates are fantastic. Whether you're using a high-end camera or a smartphone, the tripod is well-suited for both and ready to use in no time.

The tripod offers excellent value for money and is worth every penny.

I send you photo which is one, perhaps the most important reason. The possibility to have the all family together, including the "photographer"...

First impression out of the box, this is very good looking tripod, with nice orange accents. But it is not all about looks so how does it function. Supplied with a good quality case, shoulder strap and additional mount for phone (which can also be used on a camera). The tripod functions like most these days, the twist locking mechanisms on the legs work well and secure the legs firmly in place when fully extended, or any other height combination required. The smallest leg section when at full extension will get you out of a jam, but there is some flex, especially if the legs are at the maximum angle/span, so maybe not use this for long exposures/windy locations. Personally I will probably leave them left in, unless desperate, and just have the tripod at a lower but more stable height. I like to work at low level when using travel tripods for maximum stability, unfortunately it does not have an additional small/3 inch low level column so the center column needs to be extended, but with 2 leg extensions on each leg set at the maximum low level position it provides a good solid base for a DSLR and Filter system. This is not a deal breaker but would have been a nice addition. The head itself is a typical ball type, fully adjustable, and it seems well made and secures a DSLR and small zoom/standard lens combo firmly in place at any angle. The overall unit weight itself was 1400g, so ever so slightly over the advertised weight on my scales. It is 400g lighter than an aluminium travel tripod I have and the difference is noticeable. That said I am yet to try it in a backpack but I am wondering if I should have gotten the lighter version again (1000g). Time will tell. So first impressions are this is a very good looking, solid, stable, good value multi functional travel tripod. I am very happy with the purchase at this point and would definitely recommend this K&F product and the K&F brand as a whole. I will post an updated review when I have had the opportunity to travel with the tripod and use it fully when out and about.

A few weeks ago I bought the K&F Concept 172cm carbon tripod, D255C4 (SA255C1) for shooting in Portugal. It is a compact and lightweight travel tripod with monopod function, 1/4” thread and 360° ball head for SLR camera including smartphone holder. The stand is compatible with Arca Swiss accessories, such as L-rails.
The stand is perfect for travel, as it can be folded extremely small and yet has stability that leaves nothing to be desired. Due to the low weight of the carbon stand, you can also simply attach it to the outside of the camera backpack without having to tow yourself with it.
I was so satisfied with the performance that I can fully recommend it as a travel tripod.
When setting up the stand, however, you should be careful not to accidentally loosen the screw-in rubber feet. I had actually lost a rubber foot on the last day (therefore only 4 stars), but it was replaced quickly and without problems by the manufacturer.
My conclusion: I would buy the stand again at any time...

I love this tripod. It is tall enough for me. It is light weight. It is compact when folded. Great case is included.

Bought this as a "throw-away" tripod for my last journey to eastern Europe with the idea that if needed, it could be left behind. It's cheaper than my regular carbon-fiber tripod though not quite as sturdy but a lot lower cost. It comes complete with a smart-phone clamp and quick-release place and folds up quite nicely. Even comes with the proper wrenches. However, the feet unscrew easily and one must constantly make sure they down come out. There are a few other little things that easily loosen but they are minor and if you are aware, you shouldn't have issues.

One thing I like is that this tripod extends a little higher than my other small travel sticks but, like other than my larger tripod, there's no easy way to get the camera near to the ground other than upside-down which looks great in an ad, but has always been a PIA in practices. IMO, when the legs can go nearly to the ground, the column should be able to be split so that one doesn't have to carry a short center column nor try to work the camera glass-awkward.

Light weight and sturdy. I was hesitant because I wasn’t sure how it would hold up to daily use due to its weight - it’s been excellent! This tripod was recommended to me by a fellow photographer - I’m so grateful.

I work on documentaries and have to travel with a lot of gear. This is a great all around tripod that does exactly what I need. It supports a decent amount of weight and is pretty sturdy. Easy to set up, light, and packs well. It is sturdy enough that you can lean on it. That to me is a good sign of a tripod. There are a lot of travel tripods that won't support leaning weight. This is a test I learned from my father. I will probably by a 3rd one in the near future.
