Spectacular deal. The four filter holders alone are worth the price. The adaptor rings are thick and sturdy. The filters themselves (already placed in the holders) are excellent quality, every bit on the level of the much more expensive Cokin P series filters. I very highly recommend this kit to any photographer.

I want to learn about color filter effect for photography. In particular, I want to use ND to shoot landscaping. I bought the system as a tool to learn and try. Pic 1, no filter, Pic 2 (K&F glass 10stop ND), Pic 3 (this product). The result is a bit disappointing. Obviously, I can't expect this to beat out expensive (Lee, NiSi) system. But the color shift is too much even for a first time user to notice. I think it is a great value if you want to learn about color filter. It comes with 40 piece of filters. But I won't use it for serious work. I had yet to try out the gradual one. I hope that they are not that bad.

There are no instructions explaining how to attach the various pieces or what they're for. It's not brain surgery but there is still a piece that I have no idea what it's purpose is. There are 4 nice bags for the filters but all the other stuff is just loose with nowhere to put any of it.

Filters are difficult to slid in or out, had to use pliers to remove one, otherwise happy with selection.

I've used a handful of Cokin filters since the 80's. I just purchased the new Sigma 100-400 zoom for my Sony e-mount and I needed 67mm step-up ring for my filters. I also needed an 82mm ring for my wide-angle lens. I was about to buy two rings for more than this whole set costs. No brainer. Get this set for $60, use the two rings I need, and use whatever else I need out of this set. Other reviewers have said there are too many similar colored filters in the set. That may be true, but go through the set and pick out the ones that work for you. Put the rest and the other rings in your closet, you may use them one day. The four wallet-style filter holders can get bulky in your bag. I picked out a handful of filters that I need and put them in my Cokin filter box. I use one of the wallet-style holders for my step-up rings and the filter holders. The other three filter holders went into my closet. These filters will compliment my Cokin filters nicely. I think one reviewer said the ring wouldn't fit the lens; I haven't had that problem. All-in-all, this is a nice set, especially for beginners.

I used to use a system years ago similar to this but you had to buy each piece individually. Not as easy as other filters but this has so much variety it is great.

Variety of glass helps beginners to try different combinations of color patterns. The holder also works good, sometimes its hard insert filters but it holds well.
