This is a great tripod but was mistakenly ordered. K&F customer service is hands down one of the best. They respond in a timely matter to meet all reasonable requests. They even offered to send me a model of my choice to try out which I thought was above and beyond what is required of them. Even though I am returning this model I did examine the product and found it to be solid and light weight. Ball head is smooth and the tripod itself is appealing to the eyes. It just lacked one function I wanted but that was a mistake on my part not theirs. I will definitely continue to do business with this company.

No major complaints so far with this tripod. I did have a warranty issue where one of the pads had fallen off, and after contacting customer service they resolved the issue much to my satisfaction.

A decent size tripod with respectable weight and quick, easy, versatile use. It's even a compact unit when folded.I'm very happy with it.

There was a small problem with the plate but the manufacturer was very quick to solve it. Very nice and interested in solving the problem ... .

Very delicious finish. Not quite as stable as a Manfrotto Befree, but certainly better than my old Hama, and nicely tall. Setting up the monopod takes more time than I like, but I guess it's useful when you need a tripod and a monopod and don't want to carry both. If you haven't tried twistlocks before and find them a little uncomfortable, just sit in your sofa for five to ten minutes and fiddle with the locks to let your hands "make friends" with them, and you'll love them.

Considering the price point, this is a wonderful tripod. It has a wonderfully compact, light-weight design, yet feels nice and sturdy when extended. There also seems to be an unexpected level of customisability to the tripod; the centre piece can be completely removed and attached the monopod leg, or the head can be removed and attached to a smaller pole that was shipped within the package. This smaller segment can be used both on the monopod and as a smaller replacement for the centre segment within the tripod. The box also contains an allen key which may be used to unscrew the legs at the joints (be weary of the washers found within the joints, however, as they can be a little troublesome to put back into place if the leg is removed).Upon arrival, the detachable monopod refused to unlock for me. I contacted the seller about the issue, but I admittedly get antsy and began tinkering with the product while awaiting a response. My tinkering resolved the issue I was having before their response came through so I can not fully gauge customer support, however they did reply quickly and seemed eager to help me solve my problem. I haven't had the tripod very long yet, so experience is limited, but first impressions are important and I am impressed. I look forward to making use of this tripod in my endeavors.

So far, I really like this tripod. It's much sturdier than my old one. Sometimes I'm piling on a dslr, a 180mm macro lens, focus rail, and a macro ring light with no problem at all.

I bought this as a travel tripod, and in all honesty, it fits the bill perfectly, it is light, compact, easy to use and the bonus is the monopod which is massive. I am sure this will become my main tripod most of the time in the future as it is so portable, it seems to be quite stable, and I have used it in strong wind with a large camera and lens combination with no issues. The pegs that hold the legs at different angles look a bit fragile, but only time will tell with those, and I won't mark the tripod down all the time they are working, it looks well constructed, the bag is also of high quality. So you must be wondering why the missing star?It would have go the 5 stars if it wasn't for the ball head, I thought at first it was ok, but the panning doesn't lock completely, it is dampened though which is a nice touch, the real problem though was when I tried to take a picture in portrait mode, you can't, the ball head doesn't allow the camera to reach anything near level (see image) I did change the base plate to a Manfrotto, but even with the original plate it would not get any closer, for me, this is a big problem and means I will have to purchase a different head adding to my expense.I would still recommend the tripod to anyone thinking of a budget carbon fibre tripod for travel, at this price it really is good value.

I used this tripod for several months and was very happy with it. While on a trip though, one section of the leg came off and I couldn't get it to attach correctly to the tripod. It was past the return window for Amazon, but I emailed the company in China that manufactured the tripod, and they couldn't have been more helpful. They sent me the replacement products I needed for no charge and in a timely manner. They also emailed me a video on how to attach the leg back onto the tripod. Now I'm back using my tripod again with no problems. I recommend this kentfaith brand and its great customer service.
