I bought this as a travel tripod, and in all honesty, it fits the bill perfectly, it is light, compact, easy to use and the bonus is the monopod which is massive. I am sure this will become my main tripod most of the time in the future as it is so portable, it seems to be quite stable, and I have used it in strong wind with a large camera and lens combination with no issues. The pegs that hold the legs at different angles look a bit fragile, but only time will tell with those, and I won't mark the tripod down all the time they are working, it looks well constructed, the bag is also of high quality. So you must be wondering why the missing star?It would have go the 5 stars if it wasn't for the ball head, I thought at first it was ok, but the panning doesn't lock completely, it is dampened though which is a nice touch, the real problem though was when I tried to take a picture in portrait mode, you can't, the ball head doesn't allow the camera to reach anything near level (see image) I did change the base plate to a Manfrotto, but even with the original plate it would not get any closer, for me, this is a big problem and means I will have to purchase a different head adding to my expense.I would still recommend the tripod to anyone thinking of a budget carbon fibre tripod for travel, at this price it really is good value.

This is a great product. I like the fact that it gives you every option you need for mounting your camera. All the mounts work as expected and it's easy to switch between the mounts. The only thing I would change or add to this is a case or bag to store all of the mounts in. All and all I think this is good value for the money.

Light but sturdy
The tripod itself looks sturdy and of good quality for the price. But the bag it came in was damaged.

Great product for the price
Setup is pretty straightforward. Good lighting. I would definitely recommend using something to hold the base in place (like a sand bag). Although a sand bag (or even a heavy blanket or jacket) isn't always needed, it's a good safety measure.

Great Value, but a little small
I have to admit to being impressed with this sling pack. The construction is good and the materials feel better than you would expect for this price. The padding is adequate. I would have liked to see a bit more on the bottom of the bag, but at least it has a couple of rubber pads which extend to full depth of the bag. And the actual sling strap is massive. While it has no padding or grip, I had no trouble using it, and I have a 48" chest. It also has a stabilising strap. This enables you to wear the bag like a conventional backpack. It was surprisingly comfortable during a couple of long photo-shoots.There's plenty of room for a medium sized SLR plus one or two lenses (depending on size), but you will need to check the length of the latter: A couple of mine barely fit across the bag (when in their cases.) There are several dividers supplied, all in the fairly pleasant orange that lines the interior of the bag. It may not sound like much, but it makes finding small dark coloured items that much easier. The top compartment is quite useful. I carried my eBook reader in it, though it was a tight squeeze - I download pdf versions of all my camera manuals and load them onto the reader. The tripod holder is really useless. It states that it's for a compact tripod. If your tripod is more that 30cm long when folded, it's likely to be too large for the holder. I had to put my monopod in upside down, as the head made it unbalanced. There is plenty of room inside the compartment for a longer holder: Why not make it 20cm long, rather than the 10 it is now? It would have been far more useful. Now for the weird part. I wanted to test this in the rain. We've just had one of the wettest Aprils on record, but everytime I went out, the rain stopped. So I have no idea as to how well it would stand up to anything beyond a light drizzle. I would purchase an all weather cover for a daypack and carry that around, as every other camera bag I own has one built in.Would I recommend this bag? Yes, but only if you're travelling light - one camera and a spare lens plus flash. If you're going to be carrying more, then I'd look for a backpack. That said, for the money, it's difficult to beat.

It’s good, but not great
Love the sound and the color of it, but it’s not that sturdy and I wish that there is a bag included for storage.
