K&F CONCEPT Magnetic Quick Release Adapter Mount Compatible with DJI Osmo Nano/Osmo Action 6, Expansion Stand with 1/4 Screw Hole/Foldable Connector/Quick-Release Buckle, Action Camera Accessories
SKU: KF12.0027
This isn't my first Action 4/5/6 quick release clamp but it's definitely one of the better ones. Top marks for utilising the folding legs so it's not got the mount sticking out so much. The folding legs are held in place with little magnets too so they'll stay put when stowed away. As for the rest, it's full metal except for the rubberised base to keep the camera itself protected. I found no problems at all unclamping this from the Action 4, whereas I've had occasional issues with another clamp that simply wouldn't come off without a fight. K&F also included a mount but I won't be using that as this will be utilised on my Smallrig cage on my Sony camera.

This is yet another example of quality engineering from K&F CONCEPT, with this Mount being specifically designed for the DJI Osmo Nano Action 6 Camera.

Superb build quality, strong magnets and clips for a secure and safe connection. This quick release mount for the dji action 6 makes removing my camera from the tripod quick and easy , also handy for using with my bike mount and other mounts. It comes with the screw and another adapter, it is a compact and robust , metal build quality, a little weighty and robust for it's size but it works really well. It's a durable design and it clips onto the Dji action cam in a second and can be removed just as quickly, it's a solid and firm fit for peace of mind but allows that quick release and attachment, no messing about with screws to remove the camera from the tripod or other mounts.Good quality

Great product from K&F , I already have a few of these , great quality and love the orange colouring. Camera fits well and holds firmly via the magnet and clips. It has the 1/4 screw option and the normal screw tabs.Only downside is that it’s a bit on the pricey side for one adapter.

DJI's magnetic Osmo series quick release mounts up to now have always been directional (the magnets attract only one way, and repel the other way) up to now, which is odd for a range of cameras which are intended to be used both ways around.DJI have addressed this with the Osmo Action 6 where the mount can be attached to the camera either way around.(Note that earlier mounts can still be used, but the magnets will repel slightly, and the Action 6 mount can be used with earlier cameras with the same slight repulsion).Anyway, this K&F mount goes further by improving on the standard Osmo Action 6 quick release mounts in two major ways.1. It is metal where the DJI supplied mount is plastic.2. It has both 1/4" thread and action camera two-prong mounting options in one mount giving flexibility. It is of the usual K&F high build quality and works perfectly. This is the mount I will be carrying with my Action 6.

The biggest issue with DJI action cameras are their very poor original mounting adapters. I had this problem with my Osmo Action 4 and then with the Nano.Eventually I got some mounts for the Osmo Action. They did fit the Nano, but the magnetic polarization was one-sided. Meaning if you wanted to mount the camera ‘the other way around’, the magnets would pull it away. But not this adapter. This one works both ways, so I'm happy to confirm it works with the Nano as well. The magnetic grip is slightly weaker perhaps, but you can mount it both ways now.The adapter is all-metal aluminum alloy. Looks typical to any K&F accessory - a mix of black and orange. I do like that mix.The magnetic hold for foldable GoPro claws is of course very useful. You can also mount this adapter with any tripod or stand with a ¼” - 20 thread. The catches aren't as good as the ones in the Osmo Action 4 adapter (also a K&F). There they literally connect the claws on their own. With this adapter it needs a slight push. Possibly due to double magnetic polarization. Not a huge problem though. Once attached, it sits securely. In the box you'll also find a helmet mount and a typical GoPro style screw. Unexpected and I have these mounts already, but I'm definitely not complaining.£20 is probably a bit more than I'd be prepared to pay even for an adapter as useful as this. But it helps me a lot with my Nano and is way better than the adapter that came with the camera. So I'm definitely happy to recommend it.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

I received this magnetic quick release adapter recently and have had the chance to try it out for a couple of days. I picked it up mainly for action camera filming and quick swapping between a mini tripod and an extension grip, and it has already made my setup far easier to manage.Straight away, the build quality feels reassuring. The main body is aluminium alloy with a dense, well machined finish, and there is no flex even when the locking arms are pressed firmly. The hinge on the foldable connector moves with a smooth, controlled resistance rather than the loose wobble you get on cheaper mounts. The silicone pads inside the cradle are a good touch because they stop the camera base from getting scratched and also add a bit of shock absorption. The magnetic connection is stronger than expected. The quick release plate snaps into place with a clean pull and aligns accurately every time. Under normal movement it stays completely secure, and even during some fast walking tests the plate did not shift or rotate. The double sided press clips make the lock feel positive, and you can hear and feel the engagement when it clicks into position.Compatibility is also quite handy. The bottom has a standard 1/4 inch threaded port, and the double claw on the hinge allows it to act like a traditional action camera mount when needed. This means it can sit on a tripod one moment and then fold into the GoPro style interface the next without needing extra adapters. The foldable section has a decent amount of articulation, though it is worth noting that the hinge resistance is slightly tighter than average. It is fine once you get used to it but may need two hands to adjust quickly. One small drawback is that the magnetic plate sits a little taller than expected once attached. It is not a big issue, but on very compact rigs it adds a few extra millimetres to the height. For general vlogging or tripod work it makes no difference. In real use, swapping between mounts has been noticeably quicker. I tested it on a lightweight selfie grip, a metal mini tripod and an extension arm, and the alignment remained consistent each time. The connection stayed stable even with a heavier action camera attached, which suggests the internal magnet layout and locking points are well balanced.Overall, I’m pleased with it and it has done what I expected.

An excellent magnetic quick release adapter for my Dji action six, I actually prefer this over the original Dji it feels a lot better quality, I’ve had a few products from this company for my Dji products and they make excellent quality accessoriesHighly recommend

The K&F CONCEPT Magnetic Quick Release Adapter arrives well packaged, and to my surprise you get an additional plastic chest mount for your action camera. This magnetic quick release adaptor by K@F concept is extremely well made, is it so constructed of metal, Which feels extremely durable and should last a very long time. What I really like about this adaptor specifically, is the fact that has two flick pegs for mounting your action camera, along with the additional quarter inch thread on the bottom for attaching it to your tripod etc. This is a great design and more DJI adaptors should keep This design in mind! Because it's the perfect choice, If you don't want to keep swapping out adaptors constantly.I also tested this adaptor on the DJI action 5 and it did work! Although, the polarity of the magnets kept on fighting each other! So maybe the magnets are either in the wrong way of the adapter, or the DJI 6 uses different polarity magnets!I know the DJI action 6 you can use the adaptor both ways, but I didn't think the polarity was any different?I wouldn't recommend using this mount for the DJI action 5, for the magnetic polarity reason! But It does work! see photos for details.Overall, This is a very useful adaptor, It's very robust and durable, and it does what it claims.

Overall: ★★★★★This magnetic quick-release adapter is a little slice of genius, addressing what I felt was a bit of a missed opportunity with the standard Action 6 mounting solution. I have been using action cameras for donkey's years and, quite frankly, faffing about with screws and fiddly mounts is a genuine drag when you're trying to capture a fleeting moment. The original mount is fine, but the fixed bracket means it's a bit of a pain if you want to pop it on a proper camera tripod without adding a bulky, extra adapter. This K&F concept mount, however, makes switching between accessories a laughably swift process because it integrates both the action camera mount and a proper 1/4" thread. It marries a strong magnetic connection with some clever dual clamp hooks, so the camera doesn't budge even if you're attempting something utterly daft on a mountain bike. I ought to give a special mention to the magnets on the brackets - one magnet on each - which meant that when I took the mounting bracket off the camera ready to mount on a tripod, the brackets fold up by themselves so they don’t dangle around and get in the way when screwing the mount onto the tripod thread. Cool, eh? A lovely design feature from K&F Concept :)Adaptability: ★★★★★It's a genuine Swiss Army knife of an adapter, and this is where it’s really worth its salt. I find that the ability to switch freely between the standard 1/4" interface and the two-claw interface is incredibly practical. The key difference - and it is a big one - is that this mount has the 1/4" screw thread built right in, so you can attach it directly to any camera tripod without a separate plate. Plus, the two-prong bracket cleverly folds flat, making the camera much easier to carry about.Quick Release Mechanism: ★★★★★The 'Magnetic Installation, Ready and Go' slogan is not an exaggeration; it's startlingly quick, and in the same mould as the DJI mount. I'm usually the first to be suspicious of anything with 'quick release' in the name, as it often means 'quick to fall off,' but the combination of the strong magnet and the dual clamp hook arrangement is reassuringly secure. I was expecting a bit of wobble, as some pattern parts aren’t the greatest fit, particularly when mounted to a selfie stick, but it holds the camera steadfast, which is a big tick in my book.Build Quality: ★★★★★It feels absolutely rock-solid and very tough. Judging by the full metal construction, it’ll be around long after my Action 6 has shuffled off this mortal coil. They've been thoughtful enough to include a silicone pad, which, while a small detail, is the kind of thing that prevents those inevitable minor scuffs and scratches on the camera body. It's built like a tank, so you'll probably lose it before it breaks, which, for someone like me, is a distinct possibility.Value at £19.99 ★★★★★Given the sheer amount of versatility and the significant upgrade in convenience it offers over the camera's fixed mount, the twenty quid price of this adapter is easily justified if you use a tripod. It takes a well-designed camera mount and makes it genuinely better to use, saving you time and preventing those infuriating moments of dropping a mount. It’s a worthwhile investment if you're someone who uses your action camera across multiple activities and mounts, particularly if you want to use standard photography tripods without a fuss.
