Just like all K&F Concept products, the quality on this camera cage for the DJI OSMO Action6 is of very high quality. The metal cage firstly protects the camera from drops/falling, and the product also expands the number of attachments you can have, for example, a light on the top and a mic on the side.The cage allows access to both the battery and charging port - this product is of very high quality, and i would recommend it.

The K&F CONCEPT Alloy Camera Cage arrived neatly packaged.Inside the box all you get is the camera cage, and a couple of instructions.This cage is all made of alloy and it feels nice and robust, and it feels like it would definitely help in protecting your new action 6.There's a small lever on the side where you can openthe cage and release and install the camera. You can also change the battery by just opening the door which is great!There's one thing I don't like about this cage, And that's how the inbuilt buttons are installed to the cage, they are installed by a singular metal screw that is quite sharp! So over time this might wear out your rubber buttons on your camera!See photos for details of the metal screw!You could probably remove these buttons by undoing the screws, I'm just not having the inbuilt buttons on the cage which I will probably do!As I don't want my cameras the buttons getting marked up!You could probably fix this though! by placing a piece of rubber over the metal screw, so it doesn't mark up your camera.Overall, This camera cage seems well made apart from the inbuilt buttons and the sharp head of the screw, It's easy to install the camera, and change the battery, And it has a quarter inch thread so you can mount it vertically.It would have been nice if we had in built flaps, on the bottom horizontally, the quarter inch thread built in. But K@F concept do sell an exact adaptor for this for the cage.Which is another added cost! But this could have easily been built into the cage!Overall, it's a great cage that does what it says!

Fitting the cage is as simple as sliding the camera in and closing the latch, the fit is snug enough to hold the camera firmly with no wobble or slack.Apart from the obvious benefit of having all edges of the camera protected by a very solid feeling cage, the K&F CONCEPT Alloy Camera Cage has raised buttons for power and record, these help by making both buttons easier to operate - the power button is the most impressive as switching the camera on or off is less 'fidgety' than the body only switch, as wel as making the switch between video or photo simpler.A cutout in the cage gives access to the USB C socket for charging or data transfer, so no need to remove the cage for anything but battery replacement, if required.The Osmo Action 6 magnetic QR adaptor has a cutout in the base of the cage, and may be attached to the side of the cage for vertical orientation use.A cold shoe slot is provided at the top of the cage, ideally suited for a small video light, although access to the record button may be a little restricted by short height adaptors.The K&F CONCEPT Alloy Camera Cage is a no-nonsense design that does its job well, in my opinion. This is a virtually instant review, the cage arrived earlier today and I was able to fit it and have a good 'play' whilst out, and a more in-depth assessment when I returned.It is doing its job well, without any obvious hiccups, so rates 5 stars, it "Does what it says on the tin!" (and with no fuss!)
