Yup, no complaints... K&F does it again by releasing a product that works perfectly fine and is somewhat reliable. The lens filter itself feels pretty well build, I can't tell if it's all glass layers or not, but the part that is visible and touchable feels like a good quality glass. It mounts properly on a 77mm threaded lens, works with other filters as well in case you'd like to use a CPL and this (not sure why you'd do that...) or a ND Filter + this Star Lens Filter.
The effect it creates is really nice, it makes light sources look like christmas stars, probably something you'd use to take photos of christmas lights without any Post effects.

I ordered this K&F CONCEPT 82mm Variable Short Line Star Lens Filter (6 Point), Cross Screen Starburst Filter-18 Layer Coating Optical Glass with 3 Cleaning Cloth (K Series) to use in specific and limited situations.
I own quite a few "special effects" filters and the impulse to overuse them can be almost overwhelming at times. I've discovered that careful and judicious use of these filters can add to a portfolio but overuse marks you as a total beginner.
There are times when I want to add a star pattern to a point source of light, and this filter from K&F Concept does well. The filter produces a 6-point star pattern with evenly spaced spikes. The length of the spikes is well-controlled so that they do not overwhelm the elements of your photo. The quality of the glass is good. The filter did not introduce flare, distortions, or softness to my images.
If you are looking for a star filter, this one from K&F is worth looking at. I always recommend that you purchase any filter in a size large enough to fit your largest diameter lens and use stepup rings to fit it to smaller diameter lenses. Larger filters cost more upfront but they will be a "buy one filter for all my lenses" situation.

With the “Starburst 6-point filter” I expected the typical, very high quality of “K&F CONCEPT” accessories... and was not disappointed. I got the 77 mm version for the 24-120 from Nikon.
The build quality of this filter is exceptional. The aluminum ring is well machined. There is no play between the elements. The filter can be smoothly rotated, giving the possibility to adjust the stars' pints. Both threads (towards the lens and the exterior) are very smooth, making attaching the filter to the lens or an additional filter a pleasant experience.
The shape and size of the stars look consistent across the frame. As the glass is treated, there aren't any visible reflections added by this filter. Of course results will depend a lot on the aperture used, the smaller the aperture, the more pronounced the effect is.

I received this item through the Amazon Vine program and would like to share my experiences with it here.
The K&F filter has completely won me over. The quality is good; it is made of aluminum. The glass degrades the image quality only minimally. The effects are clearly visible in the shots and truly enhance the photos. Overall, I am very satisfied.

With the "Starburst 6-Point Filter," I expected the typical, high-quality standard associated with "K&F CONCEPT" accessories—and I was not disappointed.
The specific model I have is the 82mm variant.
The frame is constructed from high-quality aluminum and consists of two parts—or, strictly speaking, three parts in total.
It is composed of a base frame with an overall outer diameter of 85mm. The exterior of this base frame features high-quality, uniform, and very grippable knurling. Situated just before the knurling is the mounting thread; in this case, it has an 82mm diameter and a depth of 2.5mm, allowing it to be screwed into lenses or other accessories, such as adapter rings.
The front section serves as the housing for the filter glass. It also features an 85mm outer diameter and is equipped with an 82mm front thread for attaching additional filters. The filter glass is not glued in place; instead, it is secured by screwing it down with the third aluminum component—a narrow retaining ring. This design preserves a thread depth of 2mm on the front for mounting further accessories. The outer surface of the front ring is smooth, but it features two opposing knurled grip sections that actually protrude slightly beyond the ring's outer diameter.
This design allows the front section of the filter to be rotated intuitively and with great precision.
Consequently, the orientation of the six light rays can be adjusted exactly as desired.
The filter components rotate against one another very smoothly and uniformly, offering just the right amount of resistance. This ensures precise adjustment without the filter inadvertently shifting out of position on its own.
All threads are first-class and fit perfectly. The filter screws accurately into both my lenses and my step-down rings. Other 82mm filters attach to the front of this filter without any issues.
The matte-black finish has proven to be highly scratch-resistant so far and lends the filter a professionally sleek and premium appearance. The aluminum frame is a mere 7.5 mm thick overall and weighs just 22 g. Excluding the 2.5 mm screw threads, the filter adds only 5 mm to the lens profile once mounted, making it suitable even for wide-angle lenses.
The optical glass also feels and performs to a very high standard.
We have full confidence in the 18-layer coating applied here. In any case, the surface exhibits very low reflectivity. It is resistant to fingerprints and minor smudges, and is very easy to clean.
Water droplets do not adhere to the glass; instead, they simply bead up and roll off.
The filter transforms bright point light sources within the image into a six-pointed star! While the appearance of this effect depends on various factors, it generally looks very pleasing and harmonious.
Thanks to the fully rotatable filter frame, the orientation of the six-pointed star can be precisely adjusted.
When used sparingly and with intent, this proves to be a highly effective and high-quality filter.
As an explicit "effect filter," it naturally alters the optical performance of a lens; however, no undesirable side effects or impairments are noticeable.
A highly recommended filter for specific creative applications. With the 82 mm version and the use of step-down rings, it is compatible with a wide range of lenses.
Using this filter and shooting with it is genuinely enjoyable—and it has truly earned its 5-star rating.

The K&F Concept Starburst filter impresses with its high-quality build and ease of use. It arrives securely packaged, screws onto the lens effortlessly, and feels solid overall. A particularly well-executed feature is the rotating front ring, which allows for precise adjustment of the six light rays' orientation. In my shots, the glass introduces no noticeable degradation in image quality—making it perfectly suitable for everyday use, even when compared to filters from established brands.
The 6-point effect is crisp, clean, and ideal for night photography, Christmas markets, stage lighting, or creative portraits featuring fairy lights in the background. The effect is most striking when applied to strong light sources, while appearing more subtle with weaker ones.
This is a filter for anyone looking to deliberately incorporate light into their compositions and who enjoys achieving creative effects directly in-camera. For me, it is a welcome addition to my gear.

The K&F CONCEPT star filter delivers a clean, crisp, and very elegant starburst effect—perfect for night photography, city lights, or creative portraits. The 6 short points are beautifully defined without being overdone, and the glass offers excellent light transmission without introducing any color cast.
The frame is lightweight, easy to screw on, and produces no vignetting at 55mm. Plus, it comes with three microfiber cleaning cloths—a thoughtful addition that is always appreciated for keeping the filter spotless.
An ideal accessory for anyone looking to add an artistic touch to their photos without any hassle. Highly recommended!
