Picked this up for the rare instance when I might need to run an action cam via vehicle window. The rubber grip and tightening mechanism work great. The main pieces of the unit are solid, being that they're made out of aluminum. The one drawback is that the upper portion, the part that connects to your action cam, is made from plastic. Fairly limited in use, but if you think outside of the box, I'm sure you can find even more situations where it could be used.

One of the biggest problems with action cameras are the battery life and having to constantly monitor and change out batteries. This mount makes it very convenient to do both when you mount it on the handguards. The image stabilization on the gopro 7 works very well with the vibrations and creates smooth videos with this mount. The mounting process couldn't be easier, just tighten it down and go! I've ridden hundreds of offroad miles with this mount and it's never budged, it is very secure. I also like the fact that I can remove it quickly if I leave the bike for any extended period of time and don't have to worry about someone taking it. This is by far my favorite motorcycle camera mount.

This mount is incredibly well built. The entire thing is made of metal except for the plastic screw mount adapter and tightening knob, which is fine since those don't need to be metal. Everything operates very smoothly when opening and closing, and the whole contraption feels extremely solid.While I'm not the target demographic since I don't own a motorcycle, I do have a foldable kayak with edges that are about the right width for this clamp. My plan is to mount it on the front edge of the kayak so I can attach either my Osmo Action 3 or other action cameras for paddling videos, and I'm convinced this will do a superb job for that purpose.I did some testing clamping it to a piece of glass to check the grip strength, and it holds rock solid. The clamp has two guide bars that prevent any wiggling or vibration, plus two rubber or silicone pads that cushion the clamping force. There's no danger of cracking or scratching whatever you're clamping to, even if you overtighten it a bit.The orange handle keeps with K&F Concept's signature black and orange color scheme, so it matches nicely with other accessories from the brand. The 180-degree angle adjustment works smoothly and locks in place securely.One possible improvement for future versions would be to include an optional extension arm for situations where you might need to raise the camera higher or position it further away from the mounting surface. I like this clip-on action camera mount. It basically allows you to mount a camera to any thin, flat surface. It's got some foam/rubber padding inside the clip to protect the surface and locks down nicely. The mechanisms and machining look great and, while the handle color doesn't match my bike, it's a clean enough look more like a highlight and less of an eyesore. The camera side of the mount will work with either the included 1/4-20 mount or a GoPro style interface directly.
