Very open design so it doesn't impede the cooling of the 360 at all but extremely strong and secure in its Fit. Absolutely integral add-on.

I love that I can still access all the ports and swap the battery without taking the cage off. This K&F Concept metal cage for the Insta360 X5 is one of the most thoughtfully designed accessories I’ve tested. From snap-in ease to flexible mounting, it’s clearly built with creators in mind and it looks fantastic doing it.PROS✅ Quick snap-on installation - The snap-in design makes it fast and easy to install or remove. It feels very secure even without the included safety screw. I still use the screw when riding my eBike since I’m in the honeymoon phase with the X5, but honestly, the fit is so tight and solid that I expect I’ll stop using it as I get more comfortable.✅ Built-in wind-noise-reducing foam - Foam padding is pre-installed on the sides to help reduce wind noise, and it even comes with 4 extra foam pads.✅ Premium all-metal build - The construction feels solid and high-end. It’s a bit heavier than some alternatives, but that added heft brings confidence.✅ Padded top and bottom - Padding is placed exactly where it’s needed. Mega good quality and fits perfectly. This should protect the expensive camera well. Everything is still accessible and the cage also offers several positions.

It adapts and protects my X5 camera great and it also serves to mount the external microphone receiver.

First shipment: wrong product or missing part but the customer service was very responsive and impeccable. Received a replacement product. The product is as described and seems to be of high quality.

Item that exudes quality

Good product if you use the camera stand (standing alone) and use it with a selfie light or microphone. But for outdoor and sports, it is not as good as the product weighs a lot. That's why I only use it in the studio or at parties when the camera only stops in one place.
