This is a solid aluminium cage which provides extra protection for the Insta360 X5. It fits well, seems exceptionally solid and allows extras to be added with ease, such as lights. It fortunately has minimal impact on the images, and there's a large lens protection cover included.It does add a big of weight to the camera set up, and at £45 I think it's a relatively expensive upgrade.

Love this case. The added comfort of safety is all I needed and this exceeds that. Solid construction and finish as well as compatibility for the various mouts available are a huge plus.Lightweight, perfect fit, durable.

Amazing product, bike mount fell and was dragging the camera on the cage for about 20 mins on the road going at least 40mph, not sure how long the cage was in contact for the road within those 20 mins but only the corner of the cage had been damaged, camera still looking good as new.

I’ve been really impressed with this K&F Concept camera cage for the Insta360 X5. It’s one of those accessories that immediately feels like it should’ve come in the box with the camera.The aluminum alloy frame is solid without being heavy or bulky, and it fits the X5 perfectly—snug, secure, and confidence-inspiring. I use my X5 in a variety of real-world shooting scenarios, and this cage adds just the right amount of protection without getting in the way of controls or usability. The included silicone lens cover is a great touch and offers some peace of mind when tossing the camera into a bag between shoots.The dual cold shoe mounts are extremely useful. I’ve already mounted a compact microphone on one side and a small LED light on the other, and everything feels well-balanced and sturdy. No flex, no rattling, no “budget accessory” vibes. The built-in 1/4” screw hole is exactly where you want it and works seamlessly with tripods, grips, and other mounts.Fit, finish, and functionality are all excellent. K&F Concept clearly put thought into how people actually use these cameras in the field. If you’re serious about protecting your Insta360 X5 and expanding its mounting options, this is an easy recommendation.

Screen protector doesn’t fit good and comes off easily. Also won’t fit in the case that the camera came with

It fits my camera well and provides a decent amount of protection. Durability feels good. Weight is negligible. However, the camera is less pocket friendly with this.I like that it has a silicone lens protector that works with the cage.
