62''/1.6m Aluminum Tripod Detachable Monopod with Quick Release Plate, Ball Head and Compact Travel Carrying Bag SA254M1 for DSLR K254A1+BH-28L (SA254M1)
SKU: KF09.084V1
bought someone the 62 inch version of this tripod for their birthday and immediately wanted one. Not wanting to have the same one, I bought for myself this 68 inch and love it! It’s sturdy, versatile, and can be packed up in its small carrying bag. I’ll definitely get another one just because I like it so much

Overall - happy, love how stirdy it is is, ball head is a blast, flexibility is amazing, love the legs and how they stretch for macro - and, hopefully, will test upside down part for astro! don't know what to do with monopod yet, I don't norally use them, perhaps a cool walking stick

This Tripod, ball head and quick change adaptor is very stable compared to price and weight.

Used to have a cheap tripod with plastic quick change plate, so I wanted something more stable at an affordable price and that I got. This tripod, the ball head and quick change adaptor is very stable compared to weight and price. I use it for a Sony a77-II with a heavy lens.

Today the D254C1 arrived. I set it up straight away and I'm thrilled. Be it the processing or the stability.
If something else arises during use, I will update!

I've been using the tripod as a hobby photographer for a couple of weeks now and I'm quite satisfied. Only the ball head is a bit tricky to adjust. The way I know it is that you turn the clamping screw of the head so far that the camera is fixed, but you can still align it with light pressure. With small lenses this is easy to adjust, but even with my 18-200 it is a little more difficult to adjust the head the way it should. With a 70 - 300 it is already a little patience game. If at some point you come to the conclusion that you can't get along with the head at all, you can exchange it for a slightly more expensive one.
Another point of criticism: when the middle column is set to full height, the tripod becomes a bit wobbly. Not recommended in windy conditions. However, since I have not had to extend the tripod to the full height so far, I see this as a negligible problem for me.
In view of the price and what it offers, the tripod is really OK, especially when you compare it with the relevant top dogs, which are considerably more expensive.

This is my 2nd tripod. I havent been able to justify spending money on one of the more spendy setups. This one feels sturdy but the stops on the legs for the angles feel cheap and so does the shaft the connects to the base of the camera and to the legs, it will actually come apart if you are not careful.

I've had a lot of tripods and gone through some of them pretty quickly , this one is really robust. You can pretty much put it through anything and it'll keep your camera steady. Recommended if you're not wanting to spend a small fortune
