The tripod is a good starter tripod when starting out with photography. It is stable and has many options for orientation and settings.
I used it with a large lens and an SLR camera (together 3kg) and unfortunately it still wobbles minimally at large zoom.
But it's easy to handle and I've seen it worse with more expensive tripods.

Nicely built. Sturdy for a boom arm application with a small dslr. I'll buy another.

G'day!

Well, unfortunately it's my first lens, so of course I can't tell the pros too much about their scope!

I find the tripod to be light and compact! On softer ground, however, the tripod feet could sink into the ground if the camera hardware were to be correspondingly heavy.

I tested the Sony Alpha 6600 camera, with SEL35F18, a Zhiyun Wee Bill S, and a RODE Stereo VideoMic Pro (Rycote) on the tripod (approx. 6.2kg total) including an LED spotlight with 4x AA batteries and even if the gimbal was slightly angled, the ball joint was able to hold that weight.

Of course, as far as durability is concerned, I have to have used this tripod in the field for a while to be able to make a statement about it.

The quality of the tripod seems solid to me!

The maximum height is also absolutely fine - I'm 1.91m tall! Quite apart from that, I still have a few handles and extensions in use, which allow me to increase the maximum height of the tripod a little. All I have to do is pay attention to the leverage of the weight so that the ball head can still hold the weight - but in itself it's less of a problem, I guess.

I can definitely recommend you as a "beginner's tripod" - not bad for visits to LostPlace either, thanks to the compact storage and the light weight! - The carrying bag is of course also an important aspect when purchasing!
This has a reflective strip - please bear this in mind when you go to special photo environments where access may not have been specifically permitted.

Best regards, the rest!

An amazing tripod, very stable, with equally fantastic features, my only problem is the lack of instructions on how to use it, for example: how to change it to me a monopod

But once you have figured it out, wow its just a fantastic piece of equipment and I think well worth the price

This is a great tripod. The pictures of it are accurate. It feels good and it looks good. It has a good 'weight' and seems to be well made. The ball head clamp tightens well and there is no movement. Same with the legs, the lever locks are very good and once locked there is no movement. An Allan spanner is provided to tighten the bolts if needed.I have confidence in this tripod with my expensive gear on top!

Upgraded my old tripod to this new design and I'm pretty pleased with it. I bought a K&C Concept tripod two years ago, it was more of a traditional design, which worked really well for me past two years. However, that was a little bulky, even when folded and in its bag, so it was harder to bring it during travelling. I checked for newer tripod design and saw this so I gave it a try, and it was much better design than its predecessor. When this tripod is folded, and stores in its carrying bag, it's only about 20 inches long. The carrying case is also well padded, so it's easier to wear on my shoulders. The tripod itself also weight much lighter, provides much better portability. I like the new ball head design, it's easier and faster to securely attach/remove my Canon DSLR onto it and easier to rotate it 360 degrees during photoshoot. It can also be changed into a monopod quickly by pulling up the center stick. The three legs looks smaller, but they are sturdier and can be locked/unlocked faster. The orange metal pieces on the tripod also make it looks much nicer and more attractive than those standard one color tripod out there. Overall, it was a really upgrade for me.
