Easy to use and sounds great. Much better than the internal mic on my G7X Mark III. The stand is a little floppier than I'd like, but I guess it needs to be to absorb vibration and impact.

It will pick up anything you point it at, no doubt about it. Really high-end stuff if you are recording audio directly in front of the camera. If you aren't then you might want a different solution as you cannot really turn the microphone in the shoe mount without buying another part to facilitate that.

its amazing how high quality this mic is for the size. why would anyone buy the bigger rode mics? this sounds just as good.... not as good as the NTG but certainly rivals the quality of any of the other Rode "video" mics. awesome that it pulls power from the cameras as well, works brilliantly with the sony ZV-1

No where in the listing did it say I would be given a second hand, previously owned or used microphone. Very disappointing. Same price, in some cases more, that what others are charging for a new one.There was a missing cable as well. There is pictures a TRS to TRS cable as well as a TRS to TRRS cable. The latter being necessary for mic to smart phone or mic to computer use.Buyer beware. You too may get unit that is not new without knowing it’s coming.

Product never worked, cord is different than the one shown in the photo so it may be a fake as others have claimed. Just would warn people to inspect the product to insure it is what they are claiming.

Not sure if I got a knock off from Amazon but this mic is horrible. Attached to my Panasonic LUMIX G7, the audio is no better than the built it camera microphone. We've tried it multiple times and in multiple locations with the same results. I've heard so many great stories and reviews for this mic but this one was disappointing.
