When I first put this on the camera it was flopping all over the place. It turned out the screw on the mount was loose and I had to find a little wrench that fit.I did my first recording and there was an annoying clicking sound constantly. Luckily, it was really just testing out and not a paid gig.After looking at the front I realized there was a fitting on the end of the mic that was loose and needed to be screwed down tight.Since then it's been great. Small. Easy to use and with a good quality sound even when outside. The dead cat worked well on a recent shoot at a farm where all of the recording was outside.

mounted it on DJI osmo, but in theory should work with any camera with 3.5mm mic input. Improved sound quality for your vlogs, but you'll need cold shoes for the mount.

Audio quality is better than on board camera microphones. I film skateboarding and I've found that the movements involved with filming skateboarding makes this microphone bounce more than intended, causing visible audio in my clips. This microphone is great if you're a vlogger, or just someone who wants better audio right out of your camera without spending a pretty penny on a microphone.If Rode would make th shock mount more resistant, this mic would be a 5/5 for me.

I've decided to take the risk and purchase an affordable mic to support my vlogs on my YouTube Channel. I was having a hard time getting the viewers to hear the audio sound properly while recording indoors/outdoors. I'm currently using a GoPro 5 which I do love but recording indoors isn't the best idea without these accessories. I have high end mics and low to mid range mics. This mic fits in a niche with my Sony mirrorless cameras, perfectly priced and the size is amazing so I always have a mic packed in a small package with my Mirrorless. Such a great product that fits in a small pouch or in a case ready to go.

Fantastic little mic! I am using in tandem with a zyhiun smooth 4 and the filimc app. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the audio I am capturing! Great Mic! Great kit! I got my delivery quick. Can beat this mic for the price!

I'd been mostly happy with the in-body audio, but had a few times it wasn't up to snuff due to other noises getting picked up and wind. This not only fixes wind and unwanted audio getting picked up but makes the targeted audio much crisper. I love that there are no batteries to charge and that it takes 10 seconds to hook up to a camera.
