I'm using this microphone on the end of a two-section spring-loaded microphone stand, connected to a Rode 3.5 mm to XLR adapter (the one that converts phantom voltage to the correct voltage for this mic), then to a DBX microphone processor, and finally into an XLR to USB interface. Everything is working great and the audio sound quality during meetings couldn't be better.

This little microphone works nicely for video on my Sony E-Mount bodies. It is mono, and the sound for music is not as full and melodious as I would prefer, but it does do a better job than the internal mic at picking up a sound source at a distance with background noise.It did not work well plugged into any of my computers with a 3.5mm microphone jack or a USB sound device with a microphone jack. The sound is weak, like a condenser microphone with a bad battery. It also does not sound as good as the internal microphone when the camera is used for Zoom/Teams/Google meets as a webcam through an HDMI video capture device. For the best sound in meetings, a good quality USB microphone was cheaper and far more reliable.

Similar to other reviews I've read, came with a broken cord, no recording possible. Replaced the cord, works fine now.

Unless you’re sucking on the mic, it doesn’t do much for sound vs in body mic (Sony A7 II)....disappointed in how poor this mic records.

Great sound. Love that it focuses on you. I wish it was more small and discreet, but overall great mic.
